Mastering, mostly. If you download the files I have posted and look at the waveforms, you can see it. Different Today, Cigarette, and Ex Ok are brick walled when compared to their equivalents on the other records. The only other difference I think is that Ex Ok has some minor mixing differences.
I saw a historic about the years when all that could go wrong went wrong with the band. A Sea container of records that got stuck somewhere. Something like that . Mike is so awesome . He Played with Paul Gilbert and they just swapped instrum ents with PG playing bass and Mike on guitars: That gig is somewhere on YT
actually the video of the live performance at peabody's back in 97 has the logo used here on the stage also if you want to get technical the "The Szuters" logo used on sugar and devils in the details has a lowercase t instead of an uppercase one so TECHNICALLY not the same logo
Is it just me or Ex Ok seems slightly slower than the version in Not Quite At Budokan and the one in Burn Out the Stars's blue cover has a slightly different intro. I know they are mixed differently, but this version seems slower.
I was pissed the way they recorded it for this CD. My fav song. They performed this song live exactly like it was re-recorded. Happy to hear it the way I remember it on Not Quite...
@@lorianneholt no, i mean compared to the CD i have. this scan is awful. i offered my copy to the guy who runs this channel and was turned down because the music "wasn't high quality". just wanted to point out that the scan was done improprerly.
Notice any differences between the Different Today in this EP and the one in “The Szuters - Magna-Fi”?

I designed the cover for this CD...LOL:)
So Mike didn't want anything commercial... again. Nice one though!
Wait really?
Holy crap that's awesome! Could we get in contact somehow? I'd love to learn more about how you knew Mike and how the collaboration came to be!
woah!
Thanks you for the video! Perfect quality!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thank you so much I think I will listen to Cigarette on repeat- doing God's work
Would this have been the first time we'd ever seen the modern Szuters logo that would later be used for Sugar and The Devil's In The Details?

The cover is Mbv - loveless esque. I like it.
I think Verse Chorus Killme is out somewhere.
is it just me or is this sliiightly slower than the flacs on the archive
The ones I uploaded? I have no clue why that would be. The FLACs are ripped with Exact Audio Copy.

yeah, they re-recorded Ex Ok

this art is discoloured as hell
It was on purpose:) It's Mike turned sideways, and he liked the way the the e on Szuters looked like a face. 😂
