The sound does not really change much but at least it didnt made it worse, feels nice, great vid, you might think its wierd but i watch these videos to sleep xD
Yeah it doesn’t come through as well as I’d hoped on the GoPro’s mic but in person even with the 400mm silencer it is about twice as loud as the oem exhaust and allot deeper. And also seems to have added a tiny bit more top end to the power band. Was able to manage overtakes on dual carriage ways in this vid that I previously wouldn’t have been able to. Glad you enjoy the vids! :)
Yeah I think she looks so much better than with the stock exhaust. And I really like the way the colour change looks when the steel is heated. The deep blue on the header and the brassy kind of colour of the rest. Think it looks nicer that way than when perfectly silver like it was before this ride. Also definitely glad I went with the polished steel rather than the black. Think it looks class. Also glad I went for the largest silencer as she is now very loud with the throttle anywhere past about 50%.
This was with the Black Widow 400mm Oval stainless steel exhaust. I believe it was about £180. I would recommend it to anyone with this bike. It added around 10mph to the top speed for me. The bike topped out around 60 with the stock exhaust and could hit 70 allot more readily with the black widow. Likely down to the lack of catalytic converter reducing the back pressure during the exhaust stroke. If you get one I would recommend getting the largest 400mm silencer as even at the largest size I found it to still be obnoxiously loud when riding at higher speeds. Would have to wear ear plugs for even very short rides otherwise it would leave my right ear ringing. This particular exhaust is currently for sale if you are UK based as I have gone back to the stock exhaust as I will soon be part-exchanging the bike for my first big bike. :)

black widow exhausts are extremely underrated for smaller bikes. even better for bigger bikes. made my 600 sound so much better

Might have to get one myself now I’ve already got a 200 mm on my aprilia and that’s great at waking up the neighbours 😎👍
Well worth it. The original looks nasty and well done for not cheaping out on the shorty version bc that would just defeat the whole object.
