So far in our train guy lives, we have been to the Greenberg Edison, NJ show, York, Pa, and now, Allentown, Pa. The large number of vendors was an unexpected, good surprise.

These DRG heritage units, yellow with black mountains, were hard to find. We found a train guy on Facebook marketplace that had 4 items, fortunate because it was our first time on the site. Save up and you will get there. Thanks for watching.
Great Video! MTH also made an Alaska Blinking car too. It's though a hard car too find. Yes, it would be interesting to see what the difference between them.

Hi guys,Howard here. When the cab light blinks it means that theres a problem with the motor or the smoke unit. But your smoke seems to be ok . Try turning the smoke unit off and see if the light stops blinking.If it stops blinking then the problem is with the smoke unit somehow.On the last page or so in the manuel it tells you about the blinking light and how to reset. If it doesnt reset after 3 tries the smoke unit will turn off and wont come back on.Then you have to take it in for repair,so be carefull.And if the light stops blinking when you turn off the smoke unit,you might just want to leave it off.

You know, an hour-and-a-half drive to Allentown isn't too bad at all. Where I used to live in NJ it took me a little over two hours to get out there, depending on traffic of course. It would probably take me about six hours to get there now from where I live in Virginia so an Allentown trip's out of the question, for the immediate future anyway. Personally I've got a two-hour drive limit as far as shows are concerned although I made an exception for York this year. Most likely I'll do a York show next year but haven't decided when yet.
Oh yeah, I bought an Atlas boxcar at a local show and it was loaded with dust when I pulled it out of the box! It cleaned up quickly but it WAS a hell of a shock!

That gold and black DRG heritage color combination is our favorite paint scheme. It pops more in person than on video. Individual pieces have been very hard to find at reasonable prices. We missed 2 smaller shows in nj, shows within driving range are few and far between in our area.

Yes, my back does not allow what was once a simple 2 to 4 hour trip in my younger years. But, its real nice to get out and see whats there. Gary
