Talk about low restriction! Decades ago, I bought a 289 out of junkyard and installed it in my 65 Mustang. After static timing it, it cranked over on the first turn of the key and wow did it sound hot! I thought I scored and got a motor with a hot cam BUT it turned out I forgot to tighten the exhaust manifold bolts.

In 94 and 95, the SN59 mustang came with that. I had a 95 GT convertible. That was the last year for the pushrod 302 before they changed to 4.6. The were the fuel injected "High Output" ones. That was also about the last of the old OBD1 computers. Even the V6 mustangs from the same years were already OBD2.
I had a 78 F100 that sounded just like this, it was bone stock. I've always thought the 5.0 sounded a lot better than the 5.7. To me the 350 sounds like a trash can rolling down a hill, but maybe that's my bias
I have a Ford Conquistador 1984 (Grand Marquis) Conquistador was the name Ford gave the Marquis in Venezuela, I have it with that 302 engine and C6 Ford transmission, has an incredible sound on the road... By the way is that a chevy distribution with the coil on top?

I'm a Ford guy, but ANY engine with open exhaust, will be loud, and noisy, loudness is NOT proof of an engine being high performance or high horse power.
Olá Roberto, nõa entendo a palavra "inversion", mas se for os preços das peças Edelbrock, eu comprei todas nos Estados Unidos, o Carburador foi US$ 250, o Manifold que é a parte central US$ 110, bomba de água US$ 60, tampas de válvulas US$ 90, e apesar de o motor ter mais de 40 anos está em perfeito estado, ainda STD. Qualquer pergunta a mais é só mandar. Obrigado.
Meh, at best . . . . Less than10:1 compression. Stock sounding cam profile. Restrictive exhaust manifolds. More Bark Than Bite. I don't care much for those China distributors either.

my 3.9 had a bad oil pump and couldn’t find one but we have a chipper that has a cammed 302 waiting to be swapped
