Not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf for the last few weeks :)
I think Gavin is the best drummer in the world. Creative, tasteful and groovy in a way that no one else has achieved in my opinion. Also incredible tone.
I know you're a busy lad Craig but if you have a free moment check out Jared Klein from Rivers of Nihil playing the song Death is Real in studio. Only triggers on the base drum and no post editing. I'm not asking for a reaction video or anything...but as a fellow drummer I think you'll enjoy watching this dude. These fellas put out two of my favorite metal albums in the last 5-6 years. Thanks for your time and I always look forward to Craig Reynolds videos in my subscription box. Hope you have a good day mate.
I'm never not gonna see Gavin Harrison and think of him in Mudvayne makeup now lmao. That's fucking amazing. Totally fucking worth it. Somebody please get on making a mockup of this.
love Bugles....that Mudvayne reference was spot on....by the way, Matt Mcdonough of Mudvayne is a criminally underrated drummer. Super tasty playing, and creative as well as super complex....not to mention his taste in gear is pure class too. Shame there isn't much footage of him, he seems to have laid low, but he's the real deal...
Steven Wilson is "We live in a society" in musical form. Biggest meme about him is that he is T-Total but writes a lot of music about doing drugs. Oh and he's from fucking Hemel Hempstead
Isn't Gavin's DARK SECRET in his book? hehe You were talking about his snare on this and how nice it is, The snare that you have in your UK Drum Show 2018 vid playing "First World Problem Child" by Stray From The Path Is TASTY!
Agree on most tasteful - together with Baard Kolstad. And what's really important except tastefulness? Nothing! (Since it's about how the drumparts are "composed"/created)
With my last name being Gavin I fully expect an entire drum cover with no less than 50 cymbal chokes and lmfao super slow sounds like deftones after a wake and bake
Blackwater Park is the best metal album of all time. Leper Affinity is the quintessential Opeth song. I drum that entire album many times a week, except the Blackwater Park song has too long of double bass so that always fucks me. But yeah, Gavins kit is the best sounding drums I’ve ever heard. His snare alone is just mind blowing, but also costs more than 4 of my snare, a Tama SLP Gumwood. Gavin is one of the best drummers whose ever lived. There is good drumming; there is great drumming, then there is Gavin
@@Virvum_Juggernaut I remember going into Leeds to buy Alters of Madness. I bought Beneath the remains at the same time. Those were the days. Blessed are the sick is absolute class.
spent a bit of time on this but i think the lick at the end is groups of 5s played at a sixteenth note rate, but it starts on the and of 4 after he hits the hihat with the L on beat 4 (so it is also displaced): L--Rlr rlRLrr lRLrrl RLrrlR LRLRL (the last beat is 3 sixteenth note triplets followed by 2 sixteenth notes)
10:42 - This thing is annoying isn't it. Clicks the button to drop the menu and reveal "Activate Windows" in its place. Yes Craig, it is annoying. Thank you for acknowledging. :)
Wouldn't have thought a dude in SFTP would have such a ripping sense of humour, the Steven Wilson fartsniffing reference is more accurate than Gavin H's drumming
Blackwater Park
Anything Opeth would be fun :)

@Royal Kairo Yea, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
@Royal Kairo yea, been using instaflixxer for since december myself :)
Hi bulb
I think Gavin is the best drummer in the world. Creative, tasteful and groovy in a way that no one else has achieved in my opinion. Also incredible tone.
Said disc jockey reporting for duty! Thanks so much for checking this out. I'll never be able to look at Gavin the same way again 😂
Gavin is becoming my favourite drummer. Super creative, tight and tasteful. He has it all.

That album is my fave from the past 5 years. Seriously.
Isn't "multiple chokes in one bar" already a signature Bill Cosby move?
Dang bro. This comment is a year old, but I feel that you still need a shout-out for it. Over here winning the internet! 🤣🤣

6:15 the picture you painted here, that shit was hilarious 😂 “...she’s 23...”
Love your videos man! would be cool if you reacted to the Thomas Pridgen Zildjian Live! performance, it's pretty insane
6:08 unbelievable foreshadowing
you sir, are pretty hilarious. Loved the video, loved the humor. And yeah, i'm a year late to this party.
He's one of my favourites
Steven Wilson on 11 pints made me laugh a lot

5:28 I think your channel should be about that
Love your reactions but... I'm going to need a few more pauses. That's when you shine. Keep doing you!
What’s wrong with Axis pedals?
0:48 well that aged nicely

Of course Blackwater Park is the best metal album of all time!:D
This is the truth right here
Funny how you missspelt Ghost Reveries

I need The Downbeat Merch to become not sold out asap, all the way from Hobart, Tasmania. Please.
Grooooooove
Crispy sound🤙🏼
With my last name being Gavin I fully expect an entire drum cover with no less than 50 cymbal chokes and lmfao super slow sounds like deftones after a wake and bake
Thank you for doing ol' gavy boy, he's one of my favorite and i didn't want to be a fart sniffer and keep asking
Also you should check out his playthrough of the PT song Futile, their heaviest song to date, and it's got double-bass hertas

"No offense Gavin .... hmm ... probably some offense" haha
Steven Wilson: 11 Pints of Mudvayne Tour 2021
Can we get some live car bomb drum cam reacts?!?
12” snare gang
Dude, do Gavin doing Futile or Anesthetize
Oh, yes, one of my top 3 favourite drummers (alongside Martin Lopez and James Stewart). One
‘Blessed are the Sick’ is the best metal album of all time Craig, but apart from that, funny AF mate! Homages to Gav are always a good call!
Best death metal, I’d probably agree
Nah alters of madness was better
@@reynlord666 WORD! My man, you’re a mad drummer with mad taste! 🤘
@@ins1demanwhitaker527 Love ‘Altars’ too... and ‘Covenant’.

You are simply the best at this shit.
Laughing my balls off as usual
13" hats and 13" snare :-)
I come for the comedy I stayed for the comedy.
Gavin Harrison is the tastiest drummer around.
I put this in at the beginning of the video, and feel very validated that he says it at the end.
This vid has sooooo many one liners lol noice.

You need a Preamp/compressor for your mic man.
If it wasn’t plugged into a preamp you wouldn’t be able to hear it. You can also hear it’s the most compressed thing on the planet. All the best!
Still didnt see the tom hit in the fill but whatevs
Third Tom right hand
The mudvayne comparison, hiliarious. BUGGLE! you know your shit craig.
Steven Wilson after 11 pints 🍻😂
Gavin Bugle 😂
to spite you im gonna comment

Fuck yeah Blackwater Park! 👊

Gavin Harrison is soooo good! "Simple" and effective.
C'mon, activate your Windows hahaha

Well actually, the whole song
6:12 hahaha...

Activate windows!!
Steven Wilson is totally the quintessential fart sniffer... did make some killer tracks in his day, true.
ay, F to the revenue, Gavin sngd the monie for the moudvane coments
You stole mudvaynes logo 🤣🤣
Gavin Harrison's snare is a 13, and he cuts the middle snare wires to give it that thuddy sound.
12”, but you’re right about the middle snares cut.
This one is a 14.
Your troll voice sounds like that dude who pretends to be 8 years old and call places 😅
lol'd
Stephen Wilson is insufferable
