Catelyn’s monologue about Jon Snow is one of my favorite moments in this show. Such a tragic story she tells. My love for Jon Snow skyrockets once she tells it.
It makes me realize that so many of the main characters and storylines in this show are about motherless children - Jon, Dany, Tyrion, none of whom ever knew their mothers, and others who lost their mothers at a young age, like Cersei and Jaime, Gendry, and Viserys (though Viserys didn't last very long). I don't know how intentional or coincidental that is, though.
Catelyn wants Jon dead no matter the consequences. She hates him and will prey for his demise regardless. There aren't words to describe how much she wishes him dead.

I'm surprised no one has said this about peeing on a tree. Peeing on a tree is better than peeing directly on the ground. There is less splash, though there is still some. The angle of the water is curving downwards. So some of it will hug the tree and trickle down. You might also be able to find a good curve on the bark that might minimize splash. The rest of it will splash back, but near your feet. By keeping your feet wide, you can minimize some of that splash. If you pee on the ground it splashes in all directions, and the splashes are now mixed with dirt, and whatever is present on the ground. Also, peeing on the ground is louder and has a higher pitch. Not ideal for Jamie in the show, who everyone is hunting for.
