You missed some pretty solid battle moments, and some good character writing (chrome mainly) Season 1 was pretty clunky though. Hoping season 2 steps it up.
Bird at least broke out of his losing streak at the end. And even tho he lost in the last match. He still did an amazing job. And don't forget everyone. In beyblade burst. Valt lost the final match in season 1. And in season 2. Valt won the final match. So I'm sure we're bound to see bird snagging some wins in his belt next season.

Valt at least got wins and loses so the back and forth made his battles interesting, you never knew if he would win or lose. Bird you know he’s going to lose and there’s no suspense or tension. Losing constantly for that long without any wins is more draining and unmotivating. It’s one thing to have a losing streak, but never winning is too far

I loved the story of the first season, I felt really connected to Bird seeing him grow so much has me really excited for season 2, I was just as happy for him even with the loss because it gave him the confidence to show himself that he IS capable

Im not gonna complain, thats literally the first time bird ever won anything. (Other than making sushi) and the fact he was capable enough to barely lose a battle against a member of pendragon i think its safe to say he can beat other blaiders he previously battled in the past
I still wish this was an actual win for Bird but we take getting a point because everyone is impressed and rooted for him which is a lot better for his morale. I still think it was a BS thing that Bird lost to a survivor finish, he clearly got that extreme finish win
Despite not having the best animation compared to the other 3 generations, I still think that the story is top tier. Since the audience mostly watch shounen, they were expecting Beyblade X to be shounen as well, but the story is much more mature/grounded.
I agree as a fan of the first 2 generations. Burst was too shounen like and kinda childlike for my taste. And many people hated x when it come out saying like there's no beast or avatar whatever in the bey like the other generations does. And the avatar you're seeing on x is just a hologram and such. But i like the realistic idea of it. Maybe I'm just too old now for overly fantasy stuff but yeh.
As someone who loves turtles and black shell unreasonably (I spent over $100 just for the prize twice) I’m glad Bird was able to get his first Win on the reptile.
Best battle yet. I even started thinking of a new bey for Bird to use. One that combines all of Hell Scythe, Hells Chain and Hells Hammer's attributes. The blade has two scythe blades and two hammer heads with chain shaped bumpers in the gaps. That way it can do upward attacks, downward attacks and keep the recoil to a minimum. The ratchet focuses centrifugal force in the center of the bey like a swinging flail to maintain stability and defense. And the bit can change modes to be like either the Taper or Hexa bits to give it offense and stamina while also letting it move like Hells Hammer. Along with letting it use special moves from Bird's other beys. I call it, Hells Kusarigama. And I was inspired by Gyomei's weapon from Demon Slayer. Just with a scythe blade and hammer head on the sides instead of an axe and a morning star.
Khrome vs ekusu was so great man. It was spoiled for me cause i read the manga before but still it was great and Khrome is really a well written antagonist and not just some dark power guy trying to destroy the world. And bird was on a losing streak, and all of a sudden he was able to imitate the DRAGONIC BREAK? Well whatever i am happy atleast he broke his losing streak😊.
He literally imitated X's extreme dash after one look after the first episode 😭 Bro has what it takes, he learns fast but lacks the experience and the negative plot armour is real.
The last arc of the anime was especially good. Typically that's how all beyblade seasons are tho. Im hoping season 2 is a little bit more refined and consistent.
Bird was on a losing streak the entire time until great potential in him was unleashed. He might be hated for this but he is the true champ of all MC of the entire series' history, 1 like equals to a cheer for Bird. Hope was not lost since he'd scored his first point, keep on cheering for the leader of Team Persona everybody lets go!!!

I feel with how the final episode was handled compared to the manga and how the previous series of beyblade didn't hesitate to deviate from the manga, they should have made bird win it would have been so much more fulfilling but overall i enjoyed it especially when bird locked in and shocked everyone

Idk if I even want to bother watching the Beyblade X anime. If Bird can’t actually win a match for an entire season feels pathetic. I’m sorry but I still don’t understand the reasoning why the writers did this. I get the idea him being the underdog but this is to the point it’s unrelatable even to newcomers to Beyblade. This is more disappointing than Valt vs Lui finale from Season 1 of Burst imo.
Exactly. It's basically like a hill or mountain in terms of viewer satisfaction of Bird's first win. They could have had the losing thing go on for several episodes and have that anxiety of when he will win that first battle. After several episodes, he wins, and it would make that first victory feel great and rewarding for the viewers. It would be at the top/peak of the mountain or hill in terms of fans satisfaction. However, they've dragged it on for so long that we are now on the bottom of the other side, and fans have tuned out or have gotten annoyed and angry. The fact that we are celebrating, after 50+ episodes, Bird getting one point is embarrassing. It's a huge turn off for me as well, even after watching just a few episodes, and it's hard to justify continuing. I can imagine it's the same for other fans and new fans once they find out about or realize Bird's losing steak. I thought this series wanted to be more realistic/like real life or at least like a real life sport as it doesn't have the magical gimmicks like past series. With that being said, battles in real life can come down to luck rather than skill, and just getting the Beyblade in the ring gives you a chance at victory. So, Bird has a chance in every match, as long as he gets his Beyblade in the ring. Bird knows how to Beyblade at the beginning of the series, so unlike Valt, that's not a problem for him (and makes comparing the two or saying Bird is like Valt not correct). Yet, the show makes you have to suspend your disbelief that Bird, even with knowing how to Beyblade, some battles coming down to pure luck, getting to practice and train with two professional Beybladers, etc. can't get a single point against anyone else until 50+ episodes into the series. Hence, as you said, even for beginner's, it's unrealistic, and not relatable to have that many losses in a row, and only win one point in 50+ episodes. If anything, it might be a disservice to Beyblade and make people not want to buy them. I heard his Beys aren't selling well and it's not all that surprising considering what the anime and manga is doing to him. I also hear people say, "Bird's going against pros and he's not on their level." First of all, Bird was said to have had some skill or else he wouldn't have come to the X. He should have been able to beat someone at some point. As I said before, lucky wins happen, and just getting your Beyblade in the ring gives you a chance. It didn't even have to be an official match. It could be against non-pros, lower level Bladers, amateurs, or in a practice battle. However, since the show doesn't, it also forces you to suspend your disbelief on why Bird's still on the team 50+ episodes later without a single win. His teammates, at some point, haven't considered finding someone else? Or realize that Bird could prevent them from getting to the the top? How about Bird realizing, "Hey, I'm holding this team back. I'm clearly not good enough. You should find someone better." If the show wants to be treated as a sport or more realistic, that's how it would work in any other sport. Players get released, fired, benched, demoted, traded, retire, etc., but none of that happens. There were so many better ways to write this. Bird could have won at some point in a non-official battle (versus a pro blader, practice versus a teammate, lower level, etc.). Maybe he started to doubt his abilities. However, he used a victory/victories to prove that he does belong on his team and to keep going. You could have had him win many times in practice battles, but not win in the real matches. Another idea is have him either be a team coach/statistician/knowledge role like in past series (Madoka, Kenny, etc.) or demote himself to that role. He then realizes his misses Bbading and proves it by beating someone good, like a high level pro, and come back. A very basic idea is have his teammates force him to battle or gets (blank) number of tries, and if he doesn't win one he's off the team. Yet, the show doesn't do any of that. It hurts the show's credibility, what it's trying to do (be realistic/a sports anime), and makes it hard to watch.

Wow to be honest I’m surprised it. Hell scythe didn’t break in half. I really wanted it to happen though because it’s been so long since a beyblade has been broken but no just a crack it might be like sho he battles with it one more time and then it’s done for. all right, so here’s my theory. So basically hell scythe is going to break in season two against a battle against samurai or something and then he’s gonna go back to strike hawk. So maybe he might make the strike hawk that was from the manga and then he’s gonna start winning again because to be honest, he was a great Beyblade her until he switched to hell scythe I mean we even see it in the preview, so maybe multi did that on purpose, because she would always lose against hell scythe so she decided to Nerf it, and that’s why bird loses every battle because of hell scythe

Idk if I even want to bother watching the Beyblade X anime. If Bird can’t actually win a match for an entire season feels pathetic. I’m sorry but I still don’t understand the reasoning why the writers did this. I get the idea him being the underdog but this is to the point it’s unrelatable even to newcomers to Beyblade. This is more disappointing than Valt vs Lui finale from Season 1 of Burst imo.
Exactly. It's basically like a hill or mountain in terms of viewer satisfaction of Bird's first win. They could have had the losing thing go on for several episodes and have that anxiety of when he will win that first battle. After several episodes, he wins, and it would make that first victory feel great and rewarding for the viewers. It would be at the top/peak of the mountain or hill in terms of fans satisfaction. However, they've dragged it on for so long that we are now on the bottom of the other side, and fans have tuned out or have gotten annoyed and angry. The fact that we are celebrating, after 50+ episodes, Bird getting one point is embarrassing. It's a huge turn off for me as well, even after watching just a few episodes, and it's hard to justify continuing. I can imagine it's the same for other fans and new fans once they find out about or realize Bird's losing steak.
I thought this series wanted to be more realistic/like real life or at least like a real life sport as it doesn't have the magical gimmicks like past series. With that being said, battles in real life can come down to luck rather than skill, and just getting the Beyblade in the ring gives you a chance at victory. So, Bird has a chance in every match, as long as he gets his Beyblade in the ring. Bird knows how to Beyblade at the beginning of the series, so unlike Valt, that's not a problem for him (and makes comparing the two or saying Bird is like Valt not correct). Yet, the show makes you have to suspend your disbelief that Bird, even with knowing how to Beyblade, some battles coming down to pure luck, getting to practice and train with two professional Beybladers, etc. can't get a single point against anyone else until 50+ episodes into the series. Hence, as you said, even for beginner's, it's unrealistic, and not relatable to have that many losses in a row, and only win one point in 50+ episodes. If anything, it might be a disservice to Beyblade and make people not want to buy them. I heard his Beys aren't selling well and it's not all that surprising considering what the anime and manga is doing to him.
I also hear people say, "Bird's going against pros and he's not on their level." First of all, Bird was said to have had some skill or else he wouldn't have come to the X. He should have been able to beat someone at some point. As I said before, lucky wins happen, and just getting your Beyblade in the ring gives you a chance. It didn't even have to be an official match. It could be against non-pros, lower level Bladers, amateurs, or in a practice battle. However, since the show doesn't, it also forces you to suspend your disbelief on why Bird's still on the team 50+ episodes later without a single win. His teammates, at some point, haven't considered finding someone else? Or realize that Bird could prevent them from getting to the the top? How about Bird realizing, "Hey, I'm holding this team back. I'm clearly not good enough. You should find someone better." If the show wants to be treated as a sport or more realistic, that's how it would work in any other sport. Players get released, fired, benched, demoted, traded, retire, etc., but none of that happens.
There were so many better ways to write this. Bird could have won at some point in a non-official battle (versus a pro blader, practice versus a teammate, lower level, etc.). Maybe he started to doubt his abilities. However, he used a victory/victories to prove that he does belong on his team and to keep going. You could have had him win many times in practice battles, but not win in the real matches. Another idea is have him either be a team coach/statistician/knowledge role like in past series (Madoka, Kenny, etc.) or demote himself to that role. He then realizes his misses Bbading and proves it by beating someone good, like a high level pro, and come back. A very basic idea is have his teammates force him to battle or gets (blank) number of tries, and if he doesn't win one he's off the team.
Yet, the show doesn't do any of that. It hurts the show's credibility, what it's trying to do (be realistic/a sports anime), and makes it hard to watch.

Wow to be honest I’m surprised it. Hell scythe didn’t break in half. I really wanted it to happen though because it’s been so long since a beyblade has been broken but no just a crack it might be like sho he battles with it one more time and then it’s done for. all right, so here’s my theory. So basically hell scythe is going to break in season two against a battle against samurai or something and then he’s gonna go back to strike hawk. So maybe he might make the strike hawk that was from the manga and then he’s gonna start winning again because to be honest, he was a great Beyblade her until he switched to hell scythe I mean we even see it in the preview, so maybe multi did that on purpose, because she would always lose against hell scythe so she decided to Nerf it, and that’s why bird loses every battle because of hell scythe
