All This Flex from ONLY 500 Watts of Bass ????

In this bass car demo video I'm just playing around with one of my oldschool Rockford Fosgate amplifiers that puts out around 500 watts rms. It's a 225.2 model rated at only 450 watts rms at 4 ohms mono (Rockford under rates there amps slightly so it is more like 500 watts). I have it hooked up to my two Sundown zv3 15" subwoofers in an 8cf enclosure tuned to 33hz in this video. Notice in the video, only the Rockford is hooked up, the larger 3000 watt Sundown amp is not hooked up, no wires going to it. The flex shown in the video is from the Rockford amp only.
It is amazing to see how much output and flex you can achieve from a just a 500 watt sound system in your vehicle. Adding an amplifier can make your factory stereo sound so much better.

I swear by my trusty 325.1 that thing bangs on 2-12s had my whole car rattling to bits!! Same power -birthsheet said 470 something at 2 ohms?!? I have yet to wire it up and test it with the AMM-1 on music**

I didn't get a chance to meter the punch 225.2 but did meter my power 250.2 and it did a 142.5 so I'm sure the 225.2 is also over a 140. Fun little amps. Thanks for watching and commenting 😁
