chill my favorite assassin was altair and I completely agree with you about the assassin creed games like after assassin creed 3 it started to fall apart and they took away one of the best things in the game the counter kills i use to and still do run around with only a hidden blade to wipe 25 guys out for fun
I disagree with Chilled about FF7 Remake, but I strongly agree with him on Assassin's Creed.
I do love the the new AC games but I do miss the old school way they used to be
@@ryanjohndavies4092 I know how you feel, it isn't assassins creed anymore. Even though I DID kinda enjoyed playing it, the story along with gameplay did not keep me hooked. Of odessey and kind of origins i mean.
I think I will play the devil’s advocate on that one... don’t get me wrong, I love both games equally, but we both know how buggy Ubisoft’s games really are. For example, in Assassin’s Creed 3, while shipping in game resources across the sea is totally bug free, don’t expect to keep your land based trade routes if u like ignoring resource raids, AND losing access to them forever. I have made this mistake in the past and I have suffered severe anxiety over it. Even so, again, I love both these games for their awesome content, especially Assassin’s Creed Revelations (gotta love the bombs :)), and while Assassin’s Creed 3 was stressful, the creative ways u could deploy ur assassins were limitless. It should earn a close second in my book.
Jason Rienier see I disagree I personally feel like the gameplay is way better and i enjoy the story more, but i feel like the last two games should’ve been the beginning of a new series not a continuation of the assassins creed series
@@IcyTorments look I get what you mean. But the game play reminds me of dark souls a little too much,NOT that I'm saying dark souls is a bad game or that odessey and origins are bad either. It's just that this play style is not what it needed.

The Assassin's Creed talk really made me miss the old AC games where you are really assassins.

No, beer is strange. You can drink pint after pint without having to go. But the *instant* you get up to pee the first time, you'll spend the rest of the night pissing after every other swig.
That is because you body is meant to drink it. So it tries to flush it out of you system as fast as possible.

To be fair, Kassandra/Alexios (the two playable characters in Assassin's Creed Odyssey) weren't *assassins* as you'd think. You can do assassin stuff but they weren't part of the Order of Assassins, as it didn't exist at that time. So saying that you look at a Spartan and don't think of an Assassin doesn't really matter, seeing as they actually aren't assassins, which is reflected by the fact that you can choose to play the game in a completely brute force kind of way by speccing into warrior skills rather than assassin skills.
Still, it does take away the fact the story isn’t focused solely on assassins and their knowledge of stealth , so it’s understandable why Chilled would prefer the older games
@@MDErik_ Yeah, I'm not arguing against that. It *is* a little strange that Assassin's Creed games are just *barely* Assassin's Creed games anymore. But in Odyssey's case at least, if you treat it like a prequel it's more bearable, because there are still the pieces of Eden, there are still the Isu, and the end of the cult line suggests some interesting things for how to Knights Templar and Assassins came to be.

It as a bit of a mouth full so i shortened it.
That said, it's not necessarily that bad, bit weird. Definitely expect them to focus on axes and spears more than blades , especially hidden but hmm. With a history like this i guess jt wouldn't be that strange that at least one assassin was hidden among the Vikings.
I have been replaying all the games recently to prepare for the symphony (which was postponed a second time because of Covid.) It truly reminded me how much I miss the earlier games. And that's coming from someone who sold their sold to Ubisoft for more. That being said, the reason why the story went wonky was that the 'Juno/Desmond’ arc was resolved in the comics after Unity pretty sure, and then the games did their own thing.
I miss the old Assassins Creed games that featured Desmond and the Animus.
Ahh, the good days before Ubisoft killed off their protagonist and gave us a faceless nobody in his place. I was hoping for a war between Assassin's led by Desmond and Abstrego Industries. AC 1 - Brotherhood was the height of the series in my opinion. 3 had arguably the worst assassin in the series based on personality. We went from Ezio to a whining prick. I would have taken a spin-off game that features both Malick's backstory + after the fall of Al Mualim.
@@spectrum4524 I agree I think Connor would been a perfect ending point though as a further assassin down the line.
Im just salty they finished the Juno arc in the comics and not the games where we just spent 6 games building up the story only for 0 pay off unless you invest in all parts of the series.
I was not happy with odyssey, origins was okay. Syndicate had the sequence as Evie's daughter? In WW2 that would have been a great game on its own.

I mean, I almost never am able to feel when I have to poo. I have to poo on a schedule and if I don't poo on any one day, I have to fast and eat nothing but a liquid diet the next day. If it lasts for 3 days or more, I have to eat at least 3 servings of vegetables and nothing else and drink at least a measured gallon of water within a 10-12 hour period. Doctors, dietitians, gastroenterologists, among others can't diagnose it and can't figure it out. But I just can't feel when I have to poo much like Ze not knowing when to pee. Trouble is, if I don't keep close tabs on this, some of my organs begin failing and I experience extreme pain and have what is similar to but technically not quite a seizure. So Ze's parents did the right thing. He could've begun experiencing organ failure like I did.

ze's wall story happened to me... only it was a door... and it was opening... and i remember bleeding and it went over my eyes red then black... then waking up screaming, fell back to sleep, woke up to mom telling a REALLY bad joke at the time (funnier later) but i was drugged so i ripped out my stitches, went back and now i still have that scar at 22

Anthony if u want a good Assassin's Creed Type Samurai/Ninja game check out Ghost of Tsushima comes out in July and looks better than any AC game.

Midsomer is one of those artsy hipster shitshows of 2019 and not actually that good of a movie.
Origins is the literal origin of how the creed started. Odyssey looks to be the start of the templars or something like them.
You haven't fully matured until around age 25 so in that respect no 30 is not old
Revelations was the last good Assassin's creed game.

Albus Alucard i seen gameplay of that game, there are a ton of dips in visual quality in comparison to the demo. Even people I know who finished it have commented on it lol

I'm with you on the Assassin's Creed thing, Chilled. I LOVED the Ezio trilogy and AC3 was pretty good too. Black Flag and Syndicate were eh. But I am not a big fan of the two new ones. They just didn't feel like Assassin's Creed to me at all.

No, there's no AC game set in the American Civil War. Liberation set in the French and Indian War and Freedom Cry set in Haiti before the American Revolution
I miss the old AC games as well. That's why i'm so hyped for Ghost of Tsushima. The gameplay gives me old school AC vibes AND it's set in Japan, like i've always wanted.

Aside from ACIII, AC IV: Black Flag, and Freedom Cry I don’t think I’ve beaten any other game in the series (mainly do the story missions) only recently started playing Origins (ive also played the ezio trilogy (ACII, Brotherhood, Revelations), AC1, Unity, Syndicate and AC III Liberation but have yet to beat any of those.) Edit: I guess I forgot I played AC Russia and China but never beat either one of those.
Also I forgot I played and beat Watch_Dogs, Watch_Dogs: Bad Blood, and Watch_Dogs 2 (since they are technically set in a shared universe with Assassin’s Creed.)

Origins was far from the worst but a game about Assassin's should encourage stealth kills. And you need to lvl up the hidden blade. I dont care how many push ups the guy I'm trying to kill does a blade to the face should always kill. I lost interest after I saw how buggy Unity was. Or as I call it Assassin's Creed: We'll Finish It Later.
