I may be only a high school student, but watching them talk about Yugioh like this reminds me of the lunch tables in elementary school, in a good way. However, I am on the side that suggests Yugioh evolved in complexity for the better.
Mirror Force has been replaced by Quaking Mirror Force, Drowning Mirror Force, Storming Mirror Force, and Blazing Mirror Force, plus in modern Yugioh, people rarely play trap cards except for floodgates and negates. I'll stop here before I go on a whole tangent lol

Pendulmn - 2 to 6 = 3,4,5

Never understood what the problem was people had with xyz monsters. With cards that seemed to summon copies of itself it seemed easy to get into.

CHILLED PLAY YUGIOH LEGACY OT THE DULIEST PLS! It's a single-player game that lets you go through all of the anime and collect most if not all of the cards.
All this talk about Yu-Gi-Oh power creep... I've never played it myself, but as an MTG player, the power creep is too prevalent.
I'm looking forward to chilled getting trolled as payback for that last monopoly game
yugioh now is finished in 2-3 turns anything longer are an EXTREMELY RARE exception. cycling through half your deck to set a full board on turn 1 happens all the time

That's because it is an incendiary weapon, which is not banned by the Geneva Convention. Though it is allowed to be used, generally speaking it'd be frowned upon in conventional warfare.

To this day I still have no idea what the quadfecta is, and I used to watch them when I was 7 years old..
The quadfecta is when you get last place every race so you only have 4 points at the end.

I had to run some Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments in the past, a lot of the problem with people trying to counter each others trap cards is that they misread the wording, destroying a trap card does not negate the effect of its activation, so it activates then is destroyed so the initial effect goes off, has to read "negates the activation" to stop the card from going off.
