We'll have to put this hike on our bucket list. Beautiful! It's cool that this was your first UA-cam video, and then you got to do it again. ❤ Looked a bit steep in spots. Awesome lakes and waterfalls! Gorgeous mountain views. 😊 Love the snow angel. We'd be doing that in the snow. 😇 Yikes, that rock scramble! The sword in the stone is pretty funny. 😆 Thanks for sharing!

Nice trip. I've never been up past Silver Lake. It was nice to see the upper lake even though it was still iced over. Beautiful area. Cool that you made it to the sword. I've heard about it and we were going to hike to it but then I heard they took it down. Well done on your hike. Awesome stuff. Have a great day.

@Packsalot thanks Steve. It is a worthwhile hike either way. I cracked me up that someone had left that little play sword.
      Take care!

Beautiful day! Great coaching on the rocky exposed scramble! 😄Wonderful views and fun sword in the stone. Pretty lakes too. Fun to see Timp and the flowing creeks. ☀️☀️💛💛👍👍

An incredible view of Timp from here for sure. It's probably one of the reasons it's so crowded.
      Take care, Jen!

Look at that snow still there. You see some of the best areas. The hiking trail looked fun. Loved those views 👍🏻👍🏻

all that snow is going quick. It's supposed to be in the 100's rest of the week.
I wished I had more time to catch views like that. I haven't had much time to get out this year.
      Take care, Jason!

Wow, so many people are the first lake. But the second lake still iced over was absolutely beautiful.

It's worth the extra miles to get away from everyone.
      Thanks!

I appreciate you checking it out. It is a beautiful area. It's a bit too crowded for my taste.

Some pretty amazing views from up there!! What a wonderful little tidbit with the sword. Awesome!!

Yes, it is totally worth the extra climb. My original video showed the true Excalibur. It was a little secret for years. Once it got out and people with no experience started to look for it. It became dangerous, and it is technically in the wilderness area.

Thanks, Jim. It is a beautiful hike. If we had planned better, we would have staged a car in the canyon over the top. It was really hot, though, so hanging out in the snow was fun.

It was fun to go back. The first time I went, it was just myself and my son. My daughter has wanted to go ever since. It was nice to make that happen.
      Take care!

Did this one as an overnight a few years back. It’s a beautiful area!

We encounter a lot of Overnighters coming and going to Silver Lake, but only two guys beyond that to Silver Glance.
Way too many people for me. I would go back again during the week, never a weekend.
      Take care!
