I just started my loc journey, I wanted 50 locs, and I have exactly that amount, I wanted them to be a bit thicker but smaller than the Bongo locs I had before. Yours look beautiful and moisturized 😍

Its day 3 of my second loc journey and I currently have 56 locs, in my first journey I had 39 and I combed them out at 6 months because I wasn’t happy with the thickness and parting system .

Just found you on IG. I'm a week behind you (4.5.20). I have approximately 185 and turned 5 months on the 5th. I started with 280 then combined when I was supposed to do first retwist because I am not about that doing hair all day life anymore.
Been wearing headties since I'm in the house anyway. I'll do recount for my 6 month debut.
Thank you for sharing your journey. Your pictures/videos let me see I've been far too critical of my baby locs. I still can't wait for them to get longer but I will do better about enjoying this stage.

@1GorgeousGodzilla so sorry just now seeing this... I took some of the two stand twists apart, so it added an extra loc. At that time, they weren't all the way loc'd.
This will be my 4th set if I leave these mini twists in I’m going for 100 lol yours are so cute!!!❤
127 locs, May have to combine some later but want to see if they could survive on their own. Going on 4 months and absolutely love this journey so far. Thinking about starting a channel when I hit 6 months.

I too had 113 locs wen i fist started but i had 5 in the back that were way to small so i undid that row and made it 3 in the back now i have 111 locs.☺☺ with a side part as well.

my first loc journey combed them out 12/2019 I had 76. this time, just put them in a few weeks ago I have 186. I wanted them smaller this time to be able to do more styles. there are a few I wish were smaller, may comb them out and split not sure yet.
8 months in with 75 locks, but I am thinking to splits some so it can be 80 exactly, 40 on each side
I want 100 but my ultimate goal is for my hair to be full, I’m starting them next month n I’m so excited
