We are both proud of you, in the man you are and your whacky dry humour. Your videos have come a long way. Well done and congratulations. Happy new year to the 4 of you
David Hunn... Tug test, visual check, tug test, every time. That Big ute with the tipper dog apparently is legal. Footage/ pics of it have been around for some time. It seems the driver builds or repairs trailers and delivers them (empty) to customers. Note too that the ute is a dually, making it a bit more capable.
Well done Tez. Unfortunately there is one type of truck I don’t like and that’s the tipper + dog trailer for two reasons. A few of the drivers of these rigs often drive them like race cars and those drivers really deserve the tag of “cowboys”. They’re the ones I seem to most often encounter speeding, tailgating and just being reckless. 2nd, when I was having a new tipper body made I was walking around the body makers yard and took a look at the dog trailers waiting to be repaired. The condition of some of the draw bars was absolutely frightening with large cracks and bent arms. It was enough to make me very uncomfortable being anywhere near them on the road. I’ll either hang back or go around as quickly as possible. I know they were being repaired but it was the condition they were in before being repaired that got me. In my opinion, most of them should have been off the road much earlier. Stay safe, Stuart.
The new twin steer, tri-axle tippers can be driven by new drivers with very little experience and that means people from countries where the life of a cow is more important than that of a human. I watch them and avoid them. If you are driving 30 plus ton down the road with your beacons on then and have insufficient command of the English language to take a radio call then you should be walking.
I live in the ACT and have a daughter and her family living in Pittsworth. Your great stuff driving around that district helps me keep connected. Cheers mate.
Hey Tez, thanks for the videos that you’ve done this year - you’ve kept us all entertained whilst being informative (some may even say educational) - hope you and your family had a great Christmas and have an awesome New Year’s. Along with Johnno, Ken and Tones - there’s always something to watch on UA-cam about Australian trucking. Keep up the great work.👍👍
That guy with the hay, I reckon he was just pushing his load back on top. 😂 Good job finding these. Happy New Year to you Tez. Hope its a good one for all. 😎🤗🕊
As for the ute towing the dog trailer, I heard an ad for Dodge Rams the other day and they advertise 4.5T towing with up to 8.0T so I suppose it's within it's towing weight if it was a Ram as the doggy would be no more than six tonne. As to whether it's legal or not, who knows as i doubt he would be able to control the brakes.
Happy New Year to you too. After seeing these videos I'm glad I'm stuck at home still recovering from operation number 6 for when a lady crossed into my path over 3 years ago. Stay safe there.
Ol mate with the F450 towing the dog trailer. It’s set up for it with air brakes etc. the guy that owns it builds/repairs dog and tag trailers and often seen towing them in Melbourne

Tez wow good assortment of videos foir us, so many nasty scenarios presented so we all can be more aware of possibilities and how to avoid accidents. I thought the hay bale left turner was quite lucky not to lose that last top bale, but he still tore out a pole. Caravan on wrong side of road is insane lucky the oncomming had somewhere to go and there was no ditch there. The idiots holding the fridge on the trailer - what a clown show that. It just seems to get worse and worse on our roads and I'm not sure if anything will get done to improve testing and education, as the world is slipping down the slipopery slope in so many ways. Happy New Year bloke, your a true Aussie Champion💯👍 !
Just found your channel Taz, and enjoyed the watch. So I've subbed. I do allot of driving myself with work, not trucks though. One thing I have noticed this year, is the increased number of Cowboys and their trucks out there. There's allot of good drivers out there, but the number that don't give a rats has increased. Can be scary at times. Have a good year yourself Tez. Looking forward to your next video.
I just did a quick map hunt for where the fridge movers clip was filmed. They are in a town called Pendleton in Oregon in the USA (heading northbound on World War I Veterans Memorial Hwy, about to cross under Vietnam Veterans Memorial Hwy, for anyone who really wants to know). I had to have a giggle: About 200m back from where this clip starts is a cannabis shop (Pendleton Cannabis), and about 300m further up the road is another one (High Desert Cannabis, LLC). Hmm, I can't help but wonder if these lads from 'Dumb & Dumber Fridge Hauling' had been frequenting these businesses before planning how best to get the fridge home 😁
Thanks for the entertainment, Terry. It's been an interesting year, to say the least. Looking forward to more in 2024. 👍🏼👍🏼 I hope you didn't eat too much over Christmas... it'll take all year to get ready for the next one! 🤣🤣 Happy New Year to you & yours.
Thank you Kevin for enjoy my videos. Yes i have eaten to much on my holidays. I have to go back to work so I can back on my diet. Have a happy new year and stay safe.
Couple of years back seen a bloke turning into a narrow side street with brand new Tautliner tri axle behind a K200 didn't allow himself enuff turning room and ripped the side open on a Stobie pole....
Happy New year to you and yours be sure to keep safe on and off the road and Tez I would pay to see you work for a day at maccas I would probably see if could drive up to see you behind the counter lmao
The video of the guys standing on the back of the car trailer holding the fridge is either in Washington or Oregon going by the surroundings & street signs.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and yours Tez. Love your work. Always amazed at how capable many truckies are in avoiding idiots on the road! Perhaps you might one day explain the costs involved to the truckie. Tyers, damaged hitches etc which I bet don't get covered by the loon driver they missed. Keep safe. Cheers 😊
Happy new year tez, hope you've had a great break. In regard to the "dropping" trailers, there was a guy going around in Marulan/Goulburn area "pulling the pin" while the trucks were parked up. I believe he got caught by a truck driver and, well, lets just say he won't be doing it again! (Yes, he's still walking around, well hobling would probably be a better description). Wishing you the very best for you and your family in 2024 😀👍
do you have many automatics down under ? since you have lots of american trucks getting the feeling you don't. coming down from europe where i drive a manual lorry once a year if i'm unlucky.
The other reason for dropped trailers is an event back down the road aways, then a stop in a fuel station or truck stop. Then not checking the levers for foul play while sitting on the sh==-ter
The Ford and Dog is legal. F450s are basically an MR truck. They can do 16t GCM from memory and have air brakes as option. Best bit is having proper power for a 5t truck 😂
