    Not all at what this was meant for, but when I do a giant cargo bike build starting with a surly ecr, think trike flatbed, I’m really thinking about going with these to make sure I can stop it… if I ever get it up to speed of course

    Imagine what 246mm rotors would look like on a 26" wheel😂😂 wayyyyy overkill

    • @dungeonlord
      @dungeonlord 2 роки тому +1

      makes me wonder if there is a is-pm adapter so i could put them on my fat bike which has 26x4.0 wheels. i doubt my fork would like that though.

    • @n8_vel868

      @@dungeonlord idk I never tried anything like that before or seen anyone using an adapter. The most torture I've done to a fork was squeezing 27.5 rims onto a 26" fork and somehow it fit. This was on an older bike I had and the only issue I ran into was the fork would make a knocking sound when I squeeze the brakes. But idk it could work I ain't sure tho😬

      @@dungeonlord I put the 223mm shark fin rotors on my 26x4 fat tyre e-bike, so much better than the 180s it came with. had to use the +43mm adapter and chop up the old standard adapter to use as spacer blocks to make it work

    Too bad no IS 160mm adapter. I would think this would be good as a rear brake on my bomber ebike. Yes overkill but it will keep temps down and give good brake control. My bike is very heavy.

    Will you be making an IS adapter for a 223mm rotor? I only see the PM ones available.

    Simply asking;are you sure that the fork, spokes, hubs, axle and the caliper bolts/threads are meant for this much breaking force with a 246mm rotor?

    Hi, I have a Fox38 29” Kashima and want to Mount this 246 mm rotor. My fork is PM7 180mm of I put your 63mm adapter SB003 I got 243mm, 3mm less than the rotor size. Do I have to use spacers? Thanks
    PD: wich rotor are PowerFull: 246mm or new Shark 223mm? Thanks

    I had the shark 223 rotors they were always rubbing, I switched back to my previous 203 floating disc setup and everything is fine, same caliper, codes rsc. Is that a known issue?

    Trying to find any instructions that details what the post positioning is. Which direction is it supposed to face? Does it even matter? Hoping to squeeze a 223 on the rear of a Rad Mini 4.

    Galfer I've been looking for a right front 160mm rotor and can't find any. If you guys make this you will sell a bunch of rotors to people like me who have a Dualtron Thunder 2 or any Dualtron. Don't forget about us Escooter people. We like wasting money on our toys as well. 👍👍

      We do in fact have lots of 160mm rotrs in stock. Take a look at galferusa.com or give us a call at (805)9882900 and we'll be happy to help you find what you're looking for. If you want to recommend any retailers we should get in contact with as far as aftermarket escooter parts please let us know!

    WTF does "E-Bike Compound" mean?!? Is it Resin or Sintered, seems like Galfer wants to be intentionally vague on that subject...

    • @Galfer_USA
      @Galfer_USA  3 місяці тому +1

      It means they are recommended for eBIKES. Our BIKE pads are all semi-metallic. Less organics, more high quality metals. Galfer never intentionally want to be vague, it happens by accident. Have a good day.
