In case people want to know how to do this but are distracted by the music: the way I fixed this error for me was to right click on regedit and choose "run as administrator". Sorry, I really appreciate you posting a fix, I just couldn't concentrate!

if it didnt work for you in advanced security settings make sure in acces tab your name is in full control by checking it in basic permissions

if access is still denied for you, try running reggedit in Administrator Mode, full control is granted to Administrators by default, so that should work.

Hi, i had shown Windows Contact registry as just an example..
And it is mainly suitable for solving the errors that may happen while we edit
our registry...
If you want to change the ownership for a *Folder*, then there is a different approach you need to follow..
Open Windows Explorer, and then locate the file or folder you want to take ownership of, which is music in our case..
Right-click the music folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
Click Edit, and then do one of the following:
To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click Other users and groups and, in Enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.
To change the owner to a user or group that is listed, in the Change owner to box, click the new owner.
Makesure, you had selected Replace owner on subcontainer and objects check box to change the owner of all subcontainers and objects within the folder...
It too follows the same steps shown in the later part of the video...
