Welcome to England! Your flight over wasn't an ideal introduction to international air travel but, never mind. You're here now so relax, take a deep breath and remember to MIND THE ROADS. Don't try to do and see everything at once. Jet-lag can sometimes take a while to get over. Please don't be fooled, it's not always this warm here especially as we're now heading into Autumn. Make the best use of our public transport (there's no stigma in using it here). Get your Oyster Card and you're good to go. Don't be intimidated by the Tube (Underground), it's quite easy to use and is well signposted (just don't think of using it during rush-hour, unless you really enjoy a sardine-can experience). Good luck in your explorations, I'll be rooting for you. You're going to have so much fun, in between your studies of course. This experience truly will be life-changing and you'll never be quite the same again......………......….the old man by the sea.
Claire Calabro thank you so much for watching!!! I love this style the best, especially because I want my viewers to see what I experienced as it happens!
for the first time flying, especially on your own, you are SO chill! i do it so much and i still have regular breakdowns. i'm so impressed you landed in a foreign country and just went and got a coffee. maybe this says more about me than you! haha
hi alexis i hope you are settling in ok. i see it was raining when you left the us its not raining here although a lot of Americans think it rains all the time in england. it is nice to see you relaxed even though your fight over looked a bit of a nightmare. it looks like you are looking foreword to your study abroad trip. i will be looking out for more of your videos of your adventures in london england and europe take care and again welcome to london
Hi Alexis! I'm currently a senior in American High school but studying in the UK has always been a dream of mine. I was just wondering how you made it happen and what school you were studying at. :)
Once I got to the airport checkpoint, all I had to show them was my passport and they asked a couple questions about where I was studying, where I was living, and how long I would be there. Just be polite, answer questions to the best of your ability, and you should breeze through immigration!
Thanks for letting me know! This was one of my initial vlogs and I’ve learned a lot more about audio leveling. Not sure how I can edit it after I’ve posted it.
I remember watching your video before I got to London and now I'm here! So excited for my journey!

How did immigration and customs work once you landed in England? I'm planning to go abroad next year and was just curious!

Love, if you could level down your music while editing it would be great. Having to play with volume all the time is not pleasant
Marie-Claude Pouliot agreed
