- This is my DIY 3 piece longbow build for competition. I used bamboo and ipe for the limb veneer and walnut and maple for the handle. 6 coats of polyurethane glossy (kept the shine). Looking forward to shooting this bow more and more. Thanks for watching.

The only thing I was interested in, you didn't show. How and what you made the limbs with?
Oh man! I made it with bamboo ipe and red bow glass
He does show what the limbs are made of.
Would you tell me, for making bamboo laminations, when you use the moisture meter to check bamboo's moisture, what number is acceptable ?

I am not sure about that question I got the bamboo that I use in a set of 100 pieces from my home improvement store here where I live. The ones that I used for this bow were about 1/2" thick and 72" long and 2" wide. they look like they had been kiln dried? Hope that helps thanks for asking
