    HI Edward, You make it look so easy ! I can see why it takes 2 years to learn .Think it might take me a lot longer so I can see me watching your video many times over. until it sinks in , I did get final cut Pro but in didn`t work on windows 10. Being retired I have lots of time to learn before the travel around Australia. Many thanks of you Video . Cheers Cliff

      The only way to truly learn is to do it, unfortunately lol. I’m jealous! I want to go to Australia so badly.
      Final Cut Pro is made specifically for Apple computers so I suggest you use something else for your windows. I use Premiere Pro but there are other softwares out there which I recommend you research! Happy travels!

    Hey there mate. Hope you see this as it's an old video but, one problem I am having is that on the SD card after doing a hyperlapse, I have DCIM, then when I open that the only folders I have to choose from is 100MEDIA and Panorama. !00Media contains the rendered file of the Hyperlapse, the 1080p version, so no problem there and Panorama contains a few pano shots I did but I have no Hyperlapse folder. Any ideas? Cheers mate

  • @geezerpleasers_OG
    @geezerpleasers_OG 3 роки тому +1

    It's a nonstarter on my M2P. As soon as I go into Hyperlapse mode and select either Waypoint or Circle, I get an error message of "Camera Storage Full". The 128 GB Micro SD is freshly formatted (and I've used it with no problems previously for normal video), internal storage is empty, and cache is cleared, but I get the error every time and can't go any farther.

    • @edwardfigura
      @edwardfigura  3 роки тому

      This is definitely not something I can say I’ve experienced before. Does that message ever appear when trying to record regular video/photos?
      Is the SD cards correctly inserted?
      Is the SD card old or damaged?
      Does it give you the same error message if you try a different type of hyperlase aside from waypoints or circle?
      Do you have a different micro SD card you can use to see if it’s the card’s problem or the drone’s?

    • @geezerpleasers_OG
      @geezerpleasers_OG 3 роки тому

      @@edwardfigura Thank you for the fast response. The SD card works perfectly for normal video. I can easily record 20 minutes of normal video on an extended flight. I don't get the error message when doing a Free hyperlapse, only for waypoints or circle hyperlapses.

    Curious. Why did you block out your battery time remaining?

    • @edwardfigura
      @edwardfigura  Рік тому +1

      As good as the Mavic 2 Pro is, it still has hardware issues, especially the batteries.
      Mavic 2 batteries tend to easily over heat if you plug them in to charge right after a flight. In this instance, this battery has been used so many times that it has lost the ability to calculate the estimated energy remaining, so it stopped displaying the time! I didn’t block it myself in post if that’s what you were wondering :)
      The Mavic 3 doesn’t have this issue because the batteries are much more durable and reliable.

    • @edwardfigura
      @edwardfigura  Рік тому

      You have to create the hyperlapse yourself with the raw photos. Or simply import the automatic hyperlapse into a 16x9 timeline and export it.

    I don't know why you're even mentioning motion blur. In a hyperlapse you're taking stills from a long distance away. There is no motion blur. I can see using an ND filter for purposes of selecting a particular aperture but it has nothing to do with motion blur.

    • @edwardfigura
      @edwardfigura  3 роки тому

      The purpose of the ND filters is to be able to use long exposure for your pictures :)

    • @steveloudon7491
      @steveloudon7491 3 роки тому

      @@edwardfigura you're not taking long exposure pictures in a hyperlapse unless of course you're doing it at night. Furthermore ND filters are not needed for almost all drone video. If you're flying 150 feet above an object there is no natural motion blur yet numerous youtubers insist that's why they use ND filters.

    • @edwardfigura
      @edwardfigura  3 роки тому +1

      When shooting hyperlapse, use ND filters and set your shutter to 1/4 . This creates a smoother look and adds motion blur without overexposing your image. I hope this answers your question
