- The Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives has suspended all legislative activities following the death of the Deputy Comptroller General, Finance, Administration, and Technical Service of the Nigeria Customs Service, Essien Andrew.
Mr. Andrew appeared before the house committee when he slumped and died afterward.

Nigerian customs? Who doesn't know their corruption. Shebi, when a journalist exposed the rot in custom, the ogas threatened to be kill him.
When he has toiled his hands with our national treasures, and couldn't account for it, or be able to defend it...all the misappropriation, what else would you expect? No peace of mind.
Let this be a lesson for all those misappropriating public funds. Few years ago, an NDDC director escaped this same fate, when he couldn't give account of how him, Akpabio, and their cohorts misappropriated public funds.
These men have directly, and indirectly killed many Nigerians, so if you think l am hard on my text, you better think twice. In developed countries, many of these men would either have faced death penalty, or imprisoned.
You don't say much about people you don't know, Not everyone is the same. You know nothing about DCC Essien. He was an exceptional man. One of the few good Men. He was good both at home and at work. He faces a lot just because he stood by the truth. May His gentle and Kind Soul rest in Peace
