While that price is outstanding, the problem is that its going to be 64 GB of storage which leaves very little room to put much on it. If you have one large game on it, that's essentially all you will be able to have on the ipad. If you do no gaming at all and just use it to consume content then its excellent. I have been considering getting my very first ipad (ive never owned a tablet before) and im thinking if im going to do this then im getting one that is future proof with respectable storage.
Don’t get me wrong, for watching tv Shows etc. this iPad is completly enough. Someone who wants to game heavily and create things via Programms, only solution for that is the pro Versions. Otherwise this one for 300 is good. Compared to the other iPads. BTW just bought mine for 319 Euro 😁
what i like about this ipad - colors, price, design. what i dislike: - 60hz = big deal. - clunky pen compatibility/ charging - non laminated screen - thicker than ipad pro - not apple M (can't output to screen as a secondary) [understandable] - form factor, prefer mini. conclusion: would like a pro mini/ mini pro but obviously apple is keeping that for later.
Its specifications are good compared to old iPads. You used to get 16 GB at this price in the past, and there was no fingerprint or any specifications. Charging was also faster than in the past, even if it was not faster than the previous generation.

I’m getting this for Christmas because my 8th gen iPad has 32GB of storage, as a result I can’t upgrade it to iOS 18.
Slow charging, non laminated 60hz display. Not the best really is it, for $300 its not bad but not great either.
I agree but I don't care about refresh rate.
I have a 60 hz ipad and a 100 hz monitor and I can’t see the difference so it’s not a issue for me
It’s a budget ipad meant for schools and other, non laminated is a pro for cheaper repair
@@lol-ge9bh This is the original iPad family.

Base ipad will never get a laminated screen
