Bolt: Ardern’s ‘woke politics’ leading New Zealand towards ‘a form of apartheid’

- Sky News host Andrew Bolt says he is concerned New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s “woke politics” are leading the country towards “a form of apartheid”.
“The Māori population of New Zealand is about 16 per cent and that includes people who also have European ancestry, some of them,” he said.
“But Ardern's cabinet commissioned a report which sets out a 20-year plan to have New Zealand eventually ruled 50-50 on race grounds, Māori and non-Māori.
“And Ardern has already now created a new Māori health authority, that’s the first step to a divided health system, divided by race. One system for one, another system for everyone else.”
Mr Bolt discussed the issue with NZ Centre for Political Research Director Dr Muriel Newman.
“It is extremely frightening because most Kiwis have no idea what’s going on,” she said.

As a kiwi, I'm learning most of this for the first time from an Australian news outlet. Aussies and Kiwis need to watch each others backs.

Yet we kicked out a government that increased the Australian GDP per capita from $40,960 in 2007 to a record highs of $68,150 in 2013 at the expense of only $199 Billion in comparison.
Important note-most of that debt was used as quantitative easing to counter the effects of the GFC with great economic success.

we voted out a government that was working in the interests of the middle class and voted in a government that is solely working for the interests of Rupert Murdoch.

That's another thing, Ardern said, "Dairy Farming is yesterday, it's old, were going to move into other things." She wipes out 200 years of Dairy Farming and NZs biggest export industry all with a sweep of her thirty-something year old hand, and is driving farmers out of the industry with ridiculous legislation and impossible criteria to fulfill. Many farmers under her government have committed suicide. Many. They see a family business that was handed on t them from their generations, go up in smoke because Ms Ardern said we'll export pine trees instead.
The UN decided pine and tourism would be the products of NZ.

No farmers in my family, but we know which side our bread is buttered on. We care about our farmers.
Things are changing in NZ and we have no control over it..we may delay things with a Groundswell, but I have to report, the UN will abolish dairy farming in our country - they have long ago designated us for pine industry and tourism.
The only thing farmers can do (in my opinion,) is sell their cows and invest on something else.
My landlord sold all his cows, hes got steers and bulls now and has just sold all his steers.
He's already thinking ahead to what to do when farming is no longer viable at all. Legislation by legislation they inch it forward to their goal.
Oneday a farmer wont have any buyers for his stock
But think ahead now, rather than be caught out..they're not worth committing suicide over!

I have always been proud of being a kiwi. Nothing is ever perfect but I felt like my country was often ahead of its time in regards to things like equality between different groups, good race relations, most people are friendly and welcoming, and though we are a small country we always punch above our weight on the world stage. Our people were tough, down to earth, united, proud. Now look at us, as infected with these divisive, radical left wing politics as everyone else. I'm not incredibly politically savvy, I don't know exactly what will need to be done to go about fixing this damage to my country, but getting Jacinda Ardern and her ilk out of political power needs to happen ASAP.

This is a clear example of a complete misunderstanding of issues, the reason that the Maori health board was developed is that Maori people are horrendously discriminated is the current health system. Many people are sent away simply because they are Maori, this has lead to distrust injuries, mistreatment, and untreated illness, and death. The word apartheid is so utterly misguided and utterly disgraceful, not only in the way it misleads but also in the way it undermines and belittles the experiences of people who actually had to suffer through apartheid. This is a smart decision a logical and overdue one. And honestly would the right just shut up about pronouns, and just use the correct ones.

I definitely align left with my ideals but I try to expose myself to media from both sides of the coin, it’s just frustrating when there’s so much information that is either extremely left or right - they both just end up missing the mark.
With this news piece, a big part of is this idea that Māori want half of everything but I’ve read the He Puapua report (available publicly online) and it clearly states that “Māori are seeking authority to determine their own destinies, rather than to regulate all people in Aotearoa”. The report is also not Government policy, and Ardern has already shot down some of the ideas in it such as having a separate Upper House in Parliament for Māori.
A Māori Health Authority has definitely been established but it isn’t to create a separate health system for one group but as a means to help answer Māori and Pasifika people being over represented in many health issues in New Zealand. What’s been happening in the past doesn’t work. The Bula Sautu report released last year and available publicly online shows we have some of the worst health inequalities in the world.
Newman talks about the Treaty as if isn’t one of the most controversial points in New Zealand history. It’s well known that the English and Māori versions of that document differed. These documents were not equal nor did they bring equality. We have a history of Māori being segregated, there’s a book called No Māori Allowed that explores this happening in Auckland between 1920 and 1960. Talking about schools having separate toilets for Māori, barbers having a separate chair for them, bus drivers making Māori stand on a full bus for a white man, swimming pools having a day when Māori could go then they change the “dirty water” afterwards.
With the water services thing which is weird, the Ngāi Tahu iwi (tribe) have already confirmed that they aren’t pursuing ownership, and Government has already confirmed that the water services will remain in public ownership back in June.
Newman mentioned this is all being done in secret when in fact the Government are currently going through a consultation period with Māori over the proposals in the He Puapua document before engaging with the wider public. A preliminary document for public discussion is expected by the end of the year (confirmed in July).
In Canada in our Atlantic provinces, Indigenous can fish anywhere, anytime. If you're a different race, you need a license and your fishing is limited and regulated.
