If Canada becomes a tropical jungle then everywhere closer to the equator will become too hot to be inhabitable. The whole world would have to move to Canada and Northern Russia to survive, how do you think that's going to go down?

Heard of the phrase "a drop in the ocean"? The oceans are incomprehensibly massive so even with all these huge glaciers and ice sheets melting, the effects to the average sea level is only measured in inches.
But yes there is overwhelming evidence that the sea levels are rising, and it has caused flooding, and it is going up continue getting worse.

Oh and by the way Guy, since that ice cap that has grown 4% is up to 3 miles thick with an area that is considerably larger than the lower 48, we are talking about a whole lotta "new" ice, a whole lotta new ice.
