    Imagine that: go with nature instead of against it. The way it was meant to be.
    For those of you who don’t have a farm, plant native plants around your house. It all makes a difference.

      Strangely our Code ordinance doesn't allow native plants, it even says no matter how big and beautiful. Im doing it anyway and hiding it behind fences, after all, Code is ignoring the paper trash everywhere on my block by trashy neighbors so I figure they have no rights to speak against my medicinal plantings of native

    This episode was my favourite. When he said "we need a farming middle class" that hit home. At least farmers in the US are starting to come around. In Australia it's getting worse every year.

    This man speaks to my soul. I’m getting my 26 acres up and productive…put in some incredible hours doing hard labor in addition to my full time corporate job. The work I’ve put in on the farm doesn’t feel like work. The connection to the land and animals is almost spiritual.

    This is an absolutely incredible, beautiful, video! So much of what this man says, I believed for most of my life... and I'm working on 81 years. I've been around farming for the biggest part of my life. I love it, but I couldn't stand to work on one of those factory farms. Those kinds of situations, that's just not normal. It's not natural. It's against everything that I believe. Everything that the God of creation intended for us to be as stewards of the land, factory farms isn't. Factory farms are not sustainable. Factory farms cause more problems than you can imagine, but having a natural approach... and building the soil instead of tearing it down... and building the right process of the animals that you raise by the point where they're not abused in so many ways, makes a whole lot more sense to me❤

    He needs to add several zeros to the number! He is only counting the herds he has not the animals that are living on the farm like deer eagles and wild birds and then small animals. The more he is rebuilding the soil the better the whole ecosystem is. Instead of 100,000 beats hearts he is probably take care of 100,000,000,000 beating hearts

    This farmer speaks in sheer poetry. "I would do for free what I do for a living." Wouldn't it be magical if all our wonderful farmers and ranchers got bitten by the same bug? The only barrier is the old stuff between the ears that needs to be composted.

It's a diet that's thought to help heal your gut to reduce inflammation created by autoimmune conditions. The diet is very restrictive and mainly includes meats and vegetables." From what i can tell, if the meats you eat come from regenerative farms, you'll do wonderful things for your health. And milk and butter from grass-fed cows are to die for!

    11:53 there is plenty of land to do this on and feed the world. More than enough to cover peak population and then some. The US government regularly pays farmers not to grow plants or raise animals. Need to break that adherence to government subsidies.
    Something to consider as well. The Sahara desert is 3 billion acres. 10k years ago it was a grassland. It could be a grassland again. Savory Institute has shown how this kind of agriculture can reverse desertification. How many cattle, sheep, chickens, etc can be raised on 3B acres? Enough to feed the world?

    THIS IS A TRUE HERO..... LOOK UP TO HOW THIS MAN IS LIVING.... I hope & pray more farmers see things his way. Farmers shouldn't have to barely scrape by. Loose their farm if it doesn't rain , or rains too much. Once the GOVT starts controlling ALL FOOD, WE'RE GOING TO BE IN TROUBLE.... This kind of farming is helping to ensure a STABLE FARM NO MATTER THE WEATHER...

    • @AlleyCat-1
      @AlleyCat-1 9 місяців тому

      They already have some control by giving them all the subsidies. Farmer's need to figure out how to operate without the subsidies & other such thing's. Another country's government pulled their subsidies & many Farmer's lost their farm's, many didn't & figured out how to farm without the handouts. I think those would be the one's who survived if our government pulled the same thing here or really wanted control. 🤷‍♂️

    When 40% of all corn goes to making alcohol for gasoline. Another 40-50% goes to feeding animals in massive feed lots. And I tell them...I've never seen ANY of your families. Cook up a pot of field corn and soybeans for dinner!!!!
    Sooo....Where are those people that you're feeding???
    Because I've never seen a single farmer plant and grow fields of Nacho Chips Bags...and Coca Cola Bottles....EVER!!! Because that's not food!!!
