I've never raised animals. Heck, I've never planted a tomato, but I've watched at least 10 of these videos. I can't get enough! I keep testing my memory trying to recall any of the Litchfield, Ct farmers that I used to know, way back when, so I can spread the good news!
@@laughinggas5281 I get what you're saying but being retired (69) myself I'd leave it to the young, UNLESS, you stay active until then. Farming is like being a mother to 5 young kids.. no days off, 24/7. Be well!
I love learning more about the regenerative way of farming. We’ve been doing the basics of this since 1912. We were dairy for the majority of this time so intensive grazing wasn’t implemented. I want to implement having smaller pastures with intensive grazing and improve things for the next generations.
Finance through credit and lease land right away, Once you pay off your loans for your herd, then you can begin taking out loans for land. Always remember that it is never a good idea to use your personal property as collateral. That is what ruins marriages.
I wish people like this would stop the cooperation with defunct institutions and privately group together and co-opt for themselves. Colleges are a scourge on society
The algorithm has to be adjusted so ALL people see this!
Farmers who are doing this are the heroes of our time. This is fascinating and entertaining and hopeful

It probably won't happen but this video series especially this one has given me the thought that maybe I would like to own a farm when I retire.

His hydration isn't the best, but he still has a healthy pinkness to his skin tone. Dr. Allen Williams is looking quite fit these days...😮
