Amazing Talent of Indian Potter(baba ji) in Village using mud and wheel.
The potter can form his product in one of many ways. Clay may be modeled by hand or with the assistance of a potter's wheel, may be jiggered using a tool that copies the form of a master model onto a production piece, may be poured into a mold and dried, or cut or stamped into squares or slabs. The methods for forming pottery is as varied as the artisans who create them.
Pottery must be fired to a temperature high enough to mature the clay, meaning that the high temperature hardens the piece to enable it to hold water. An integral part of this firing is the addition of liquid glaze (it may be painted on or dipped in the glaze) to the surface of the unfired pot, which changes chemical composition and fuses to the surface of the fired pot. Then, the pottery is called vitreous, meaning it can hold water.

Always fascinating! We had electric wheels, our clay was mixed in an electric mixer, we had electric and gas fired kilns, but creating a vessel with your hands is awesome!!! I just took clay classes in college to balance the boring required courses 😊

I always buy clay pots even though it's expensive for two reasons first it's eco friendly and second want to support rural jobs of India,,,poor people can't compete with modern commercial factories like plastic ,,,so a request to all pls buy earthen pots,,it's good for health too

What a wonderful channel you have made !!! My sincere compliments !!! I have subscribed to your channel. A quick question not related to the video, I too want to start growing vegetable in pots in my home, I spoke to my Gardner (mali), he told me there are seasons to grow different vegetables. I was not sure which vegetable needs to be planted when, for eg: If I plant the seed for lady finger tomorrow after soaking them in water for 14 hours, will it grow keeping into view june to august weather on my roof top ?
Is there any way can you please share a pdf/excel sheet on vegetables when is the best time to seed/plant their seed for vegetables. It will help the entire community.

You can check my community section ..thr I have posted some pics about summer n winter flowers n vegetables that can be grown easily at home in containers - now u can grow okra,chilly, cucumber,ginger, turmeric,beans,squash, Armenian cucumber,all gourds,bitter gourd, capsicum,corn etc

A quick question, if I plant from seeds i.e. Beans, cucumber, Ghia, Karela, Bhindi, spinach, dhania within 2 days after soaking them in water, do I have a chance to see the vegetable grow in Delhi roof top pots. I have been following the nutrition part for the seeds in your videos too.
