A brilliant piece of music like this has a soul. A soul of bottomless depth born in the human spirit of timeless genius. When in the acts of men such rare things occur, it is translated by the language of eternity to all who hear it. Many talented persons thereafter cannot resist to plumb its depths. There is only one class of human that might have the single-minded obsession to pursue such a thing to its most excellent expression and only a single human invention to date that can make it possible for this single person to do so in the absence of a concert orchestra. The savant and a banyan.
Pugachev is such a lovely last name. Quite an historically significant name too.

Excellent technic but his fabulous musical interpretation and dynamics take it to the next level. So often top musicians are technicians but their performance lacks soul. As a professional accordionist I can appreciate this level of achievement. Bravo from the US. I play converter B system free bass piano accordion. Have always wished I had learned Bayan too.

Incredible playing, making the absolute most of that button accordion. The RH playing constant piccolo lines alongside other things is especially impressive.
Mr. Dmitriev, in addition to being one FINE musician, has got an amazing left hand!! I love the little personal flourishes he has added. It is a pity that in the US, we have not encouraged this sort of instrument.

Beautiful...he plays much better than I did at 9 years of age...we couldn't fit a piano in our brooklyn apartment so my mother hired an accordion teacher .....it was a full-size like this virtuoso's instrument. It is a difficult instrument....Bravo!
