Really like this series. Would you consider a video on the background work involved in doing these ? The mutating process or if you use mods to make it faster. A bare minimum Dino stat or combo would be cool to see as breeding seems like it’s a job for the unemployed Ark player lol

Out of curiousity, since you got the Thylas into the fight(which is an illegal creature), does that mean you will use other unteleportable creatures? Like Bronto, Giga, Carchar, Megalania, etc?
Giga is an obvious win. People with cheats on official used to use them to bring gigas into bossfight and charge people money to come get the tekgrams, that was on ASE where the tames were weaker than ASA
The comments suggest we have another pack of ....puddies... who were too busy purring to pound the bosses *all* the way through the board, but they did their very best to give the bosses a thyla-hug!
Considering how high the thylacoleo’s damage and health are relative to other dinos, I am honestly surprised that they did not clean sweep. Still, pretty good performance for my favorite creature in the game. As much as I hate to say it, thylas shouldn’t be allowed into the arena. They are so strong and cover so many roles that I think a lot of big dinos just wouldn’t get used because you could pretty easily mutate them past this point and have a boss fighter that is more mobile than any theropod and has a killer bleed to use outside of boss fights. Even if they aren’t as strong as rexes and spinos, I think thylas in the arena would make the larger carnivores feel like a lot of wasted energy for most people.
Don’t get me wrong, deinonychus have a really unfair advantage in that regard, but I don’t think they should be allowed to use their bleed on the bosses either. Minions should definitely take the bleed though. Bosses are supposed to be these huge challenges you spend hours and hours of game time building up to. While some of them (looking at you, King-Kong-knock-off) don’t deliver, none of them would be very impressive if they took bleed damage and you could put relatively low level creatures into the Bossfight by pumping all of their levels into Health and letting them bleed out the boss over 100 seconds. So the Carnotaurus, the allosaurus, and the Thylacoleo definitely get shafted in the arrangement, but I think that has more to do with the deinonychus being one of those newer creatures that got everything in the kitchen sink, even if they aren’t as broken as something like a shadowmane. Also, the thylacoleo doesn’t necessarily have to be the best boss fighter to be bad for game health, it just has to be allowed into the arena with its current stats. It’s too good at everything else, and a healthy game balance is like a healthy ecosystem: no one creature holds every advantage, not even the ones that hold many advantages. At least that’s just my opinion. I don’t know, I could be way off base. Maybe I like the murder marsupials too much and over estimate how dominant they would be in the meta-if they could go into the boss arena.

Is it ASA only that the bleed doesn't work? I swore on ASE that you could bring in Deinonychus and that the bleed worked. Was that only on Val that it worked and that these were allowed? It was an Xbox server back then so no mods other than the INI type server settings. Also, is the Thyla isn't allowed due to it being able to climb?
The bleed not working was specific to the thyla. I'm not sure why it is the way it is... but I'm willing to bet they put the restrictions in place because the bleed is OP and they climb walls. When the deinonychus came out they probably just didn't care enough to fix it
Been a long time so probably not relevant anymore, but bosses are just immune to all status effects. The only exceptions I know of are Deinonychus bleed and Ceratosaurus healing. Also Thylas and Megalania are banned because of climbing, yeah.

Love this series. Hate snail and nitrado, and refuse to play there game. No customer support at all. After I shelled out yet another 40 bucks for this game. Then Nitrado will not help you unless you rent a server from them. BS screw these guys

I only did the thyla due to the high demand. I won't be doing any other illegal ones as I think it diminishes the point of the series
Btw the megalania’s base damage is 10. So 1200% dmg on them is still terrible lol

Yes my brother uses megalosaurus a lot and they are arguably better at dps than rex (unless they spam their grab on things they can't even grab)
