Yes, i toutaly understand what you are talking about... 100% rigth about Sebastien, and what you feel when you goes to places like Lisses, because it was where all begun, and you feel that inspiration just for be there. Its a experience that every traceur have to experiment, in my opinion. Gretting from Pedro Salgado, Line Team Traceurs. Portugal
I've been praticing PK for almost 2 years now, and I have so much passion for the sport. If there were ever a sport for me, this is it.. it totally changed my life. It's been hard in the US, starting a group in my hometown, learning how to train by myself, etc. But that's just a journey. I can't wait until I'm standing on top of the Dame Du Lac, looking down at the world. It's going to be an incredible feeling.
Whatever dodgy history parkour and Sebby might have, I freaking love everything about the guy's attitude. I want to be him when I'm nearing 40. Loved this vid Tim, same as most your stuff. Keep it up.
That was awesome, and inspirational as well. To be able to meet Sebastien Foucan is so cool, and all these spots that where shown are just all so incredible.
This video reminds me of the first parkour videos i saw with David and Foucan and then i would get out with my friends and train all day long.Too bad most of them gave up :( But i will do it my entire life and i hope you guys will too !!
aright, everyone knows it isn't about competition and so people cant truly compete with it, but these huge competitions have actually helped it alot. like, it helps people find out about it and it lets professionals get together and share something important and substantial. i think it's a great way for people to inspire others on a large scale. plus, the people in these competitions never really care about winning or losing as much as they care about having a good time and doing what they can.
Grand. Keep it up, Tim. This new style of videos you're bringing so we can watch your approach and thinking development about the practice is very inspiring. Take care. ;)
This video and some other things just reminded me how hectic my life has been. Seems like when we we're kids we could enjoy everything even if we were doing something totally different to our main goal. Now as I've grow up I can see that our society is focused ONLY on the goals and forgets the rest beauty of it. When I was five year younger, I played some computer game and it took me forever to win it, because I was doing all the stupid things, now I won it in two days and didn't enjoy it at all
I would like to think Tim your vid may spur on a new generation of practioners, to go to Lisses. Just like the Belle, Yamakasi, Foucan & Daniel Illabca vids from years back when we started out. Great Vid, big respect. Zeno
Yeah but you got to remember that competition begins in your head, I remember when I started it weren't about the competitions it was about something you can do that keep as you happy and physically fit at the same time
Awesome to see Livewire, God Bless You and continue to be who you are, Its great to be able to see this, Parkour is that.. I feel the same way you do And i'm sure a lot can relate to that, One day i hope to be able to have a conversation and enjoy what we do! Peace- Aaron Burns
I thought i was going to see only windmills and handstands in this video too, guess i was wrong (there was only 1 windmill) :P First video from you i liked in 3 years ^^
i really cant agree with you on that yes, it's changed and become more popular/deluded, but that's only with the people that don't truly understand it. we are a community and as a community we've developed, and i believe it's gotten much more about enjoying the art and life and less about its theory and definition (which are the most important parts) but it means that people can understand it and not have to focus on it so much. in essence, we've gone from David Belle to Farang. and i like that.

what boulder field was that? fontainebleau??
Professionals can still get together and train with eachother for a day or so. You don't need competitive events to do that ;)
sick vid

So, is that huge climbing wall made in respect(or something) for parkour?
