Okay, this is INSANE!!! I have a V-Star 1300. I had to run down to the store today and remembered watching this video yesterday, so I thought I'd give it a try. USE THIS WITH CAUTION the first time. I shifted my shoulders while cornering and my bike *_TURNED._* I mean, holy crap it turned! I even did a u-turn in the street and I think it might have been the tightest cornering I've ever done. This will cause your bike to be _super_ responsive. Freakin' amazing technique!!!
I watch alot of motorbike content and am a track rider. Most of its entertaining to watch but you are actually a godsend to the community. You are super informative and know exactly what you are talking about. Love your content. Subscribed.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely true!!
💯💯💯
Thank you, brother. You are a blessing to the motorcycle community!
Thanks Frank!
Absolutely 💯
@@MotoJitsu Great video
Your videos aren't good, they're fantastic! I'm a new rider (with a lot of car experience to confuse me), and your channel is by far the most useful bike channel I've found! Cheers!
Glad to help!
Just passed my motorcycle riding test a month back and I got my ninja zx6r as a starter. Before I head out everyday, I watch your videos, like a prayer before meal. As other subscribers and viewers have mentioned, you are god sent. Subscribed.
I live in Dubai and would be honored to introduce you to the rider’s group that I’m part of, when you passby. Just give me a heads-up.
We’re so blessed to have people like you teaching the FUNdamentals! Thank you for the killer content!!
you're welcome!
Agree
You are simply the best! So glad I found your channel.
Thanks!
I’ve been riding for a year now and I’m always watching your videos. Never really practiced body position until I did my first track day 2 months ago. I still need to practice my BP that’s why I’m still watching this great informative video!! I see what I’m doing wrong with my upper body now…definitely trying this out next time I’m out riding or on the track.
I really appreciate all of your hard work and dedication that you put into these videos.
Mate, you are a star. Your vlogs and delivery are both super informative and entertaining. As a rider of 57 years and bike trainer for 20 yrs, I concur with all your advice. I especially like the one of looking both ways at junctions; all junctions including side roads. So, so important for everyone’s safety, there are too many red light runners. I send my clients and trainees to your site to watch how things are done. Even though you all ride on the wrong side of the road (ha ha), the system of bike control is the same. Thank you and be safe.
This video plays in my head every time im on a bike since there FIRST time I watched it. You are the best moto channel out there bro. There no bullshit approach used in all your content is beautiful. Thanks for all your help with helping people get better on 2 but most of all just staying alive
Que video tan chingon amigo, gracias por subir este contenido, nunca lo había visto tan claro. Saludos desde Mexico! Corregiste varios errores que tengo en mi posición corporal
Fast Eddie, I found your videos in June or July and I have been hooked ever since! I practice when at home and pass your advice on to riders when out on the road, I am a truck driver.
I have watched you go from a guy with tips on how to do things correctly to an instructor, and one of the best on UA-cam. From hair to no hair and a black eye, to hair again...
I enjoy your videos, your advice is on point with other professional instructors. Thank you for what you do, I am a better rider because of you! My sliders have not met the pavement yet but it is coming.
Thanks again for what you do.
Thank you so much Eugene!!! I really appreciate it!!!
Hi! I follow many channels related to motorcycle riding, but I must admit that yours is by far the best! lots of useful tips! you know what you are talking about! thank you so much! don't stop making videos! from Italy!
I've watched this video countless times. Never stop learning every single time. Keep doing what you're doing, Fast Eddie! Helping alotta people.
Thanks!
Really helpful! I’ve been trying to turn my head and move my lower body, but kind of skipping the upper body. This explains why it hasn’t been very successful. So glad I found this channel! Liked and long ago subscribed. 😃
Thanks Ralph :)
Such great advice and demonstration. Thanks!
thanks! :)
Love your videos. One of the best I’ve watched. Helped me a lot!! Will definitely recommend it to everyone who understands English. Thank you!!!
Just watched this again, great video! Thanks
You're welcome! MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.!!!
I've been watching lots of videos about proper position in cornering, most of the videos i saw starts with the leg then followed by leaning of butt. I am having difficulty on this rhythm. I was sitting on my computer chair and I tried simulating the head and shoulder sideways movement. Your lecture does make sense, can't wait to try in this coming weekend ride. I was riding a motorcycle since 1980s. Thank you!
I watch several motovloggers and try to learn stuff nobody never told me before. I learn something new from time to time, but you give really the basics which should everybody have and basically nobody speaks about them. Thank you very much for your advices.
I basically do what you showed with my upper body part, but I have a little issue with pointing my head to the direction where I need to go. I feel insecure. I think I turn my head only a little. Is there any trick what to practice to improve that?
You're welcome!
have someone take pictures of you going through a corner to see your head turns...pictures don't lie!
Thanks for your videos, I am still trying to trust the bike not to slide from underneath 😁 but your videos are giving me some insight and save me a lot of mistakes.
Your videos are extremely informative. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing and uber helpful as always. Many thanx brother !
Bless you brother, what you have taught me with your videos is more than my entire riding experience. Keep spreading the good word. Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul - Amen. God bless.
thanks!
MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, affiliate links, courses, discounts, etc.
Thank you, will practice these advises today :)
Best channel I've found. Straight to the point, I've gotten so much better, safer, much more comfortable and confident from these videos. Damn right subbed! Stay safe friends.
Thanks!
Thanks mate - you have a great way of demystifying techniques !
You’re welcome!!
this is great! will practice it! thank you!
Get to it :)
Great content, thanks for uploading.
I like each video before I watch. I’m on a new trend with MotoJitsu videos. I mount the phone on the Ram mount on the bike and then sit on the bike and follow along. Great way to engage and learn. Try it folks.
thanks!
MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.
just love this man.
Great basics!!!
This is just such a great video! ✨️ You are so funny too - I sure do just that googly eye thing, instead of turning my head enough! 😂 I will NEVER forget, that I got an arrow glued to my chin now! 😊 Thank you so much, Greg! ❤
Your explanations are in my opinion the best on the internet....many thanks....
Very usefull and precise
It's been a couple of years since my last ride. I was still learning and going for my license. Been riding dirtbikes 125 and 250 for years. Your doing a great job and i learn a lot from your videos. Always good to educate yourself before starting again. We will see what happens when i go for my license again😄👍
Thanks! :)
Thanks for the demo!
No problem :)
I watched this and the following videos last Sunday before going for a ride. I already knew well about looking where you want to go (instead of where you don't want to go, i.e. target fixation), but maybe I wasn't putting it into practice well. These videos were great reminders as I had forgotten about turning my body too. I'm sure it helped my riding that day - I was more confident and even a bit quicker (without trying). Thanks for the videos!
That's awesome Peter!! Keep at it!!
You're just an awesome teacher, thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Just what I wanted to see. Nicely explained. Thank you very much for this video.
You're welcome!
Thanks for the tips, very useful! Cheers
Welcome :)
Check out MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.
Your videos are simply superb. Unmatched
I finally had the lightbulb illuminate - shoulder turn initiates the actual controlled turn…thank you.
Thanks, I'll start practicing this.
Perfect. Very very useful video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
very good explained !!!
thanks
Grate job mate ,
thanks! MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, etc. :)
It's not just the riding knowledge you possess, it's your whole approach to tutorials ...
In the words of Benjamin Franklin...
"Tell me and I forget.... teach me and I may remember.... but involve me and I learn....
Although you're not physically on the bike with me (here in Ireland) you're on with me when I practice. As a fire engineer and a trainer of people... your presentation methods are about the best.
Thank you!!
Great video...thanks!
Glad you liked it!
such great teacher, he is my go-to guy for motorcycle theory. keep it up the fast edmeister
Thanks!!
Another great vid lol.... I like this one especially as you really get in-depth on how your body position should be... Great vid
Thanks Peter!
You make it easy to understand. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Glad i found this channel, enjoying some great content. No fancy editing and music, just good info. Tnx!
Thanks!
Teşekkürler.
Thank you so much for this learning skills!
You're welcome!
From the hundreds of motor cycle videos I have watched from being a beginner, this channel is far the best out possible to understand the teaching mechanisms involved. It doesnt get better than this my fellow community
thanks!!
Thanks for watching & commenting! ❤️Check out MotoJitsu.com for the links to my app, books, merch, discounts, etc. 👍🏼
I needed videos like this one badly. Thank you very much, it´s going to be incredibly useful just like the rest of your content. Amazing. By the way, i love your patches, and now i want them... yeah badly.
You’re welcome!
Thanks!
thank you!!!
Thanks for your great video's
You're welcome, please consider sharing my videos with others!
Thank you very much Fast Eddie!
You are very welcome
Super helpful!
Thanks!
I'm so glad I found your channel. I used to be the guy that thought I was good enough, I didn't need any courses. Now I've watched almost all of your videos, some multiple times. My next step is learning brown belt, which I've found to be really hard with a 68.4" wheelbase lol.
Thanks! Keep practicing :)
Thank you
While i was out riding this weekend i was really paying attention to my head and upper body position in turns and i gotta say my cornering confidence was really improved and felt much more Comfortable in corners!
That's awesome Lee!! Keep at it!!
Thanks fast Eddie I got what you're saying it's been a min since I road a bike but your tips have helped me get too what I love to do god bless and be safe
You’re welcome!
Cheers mate good advice
No problem 👍 MotoJitsu.com for my updated app, books, merch, affiliate links, etc.
Same body mechanics used to turn in surfing. Specially top to bottom surfing. You rotate your upper body and the rest follows. Also, to get barrelled, you point your lead arm to the exit. Great job, Eddie.
thanks!
Same deal in skating pools, I've taught many people, I always say point where you want to go.
Loved the viewpoint and always the explanation.
Thanks!
Nice explanation👍
Thanks a million again for our you advice
welcome
I know this is an old video but I have to say that you are an excellent teacher.
Recently back and Freund's commented on my body position .. as in you will get your head chopped off cornering..
Watched the videos on counter steer, slow turns, body position.. 5 hour car park session.. went back out and nothing but great positive comments and some of them from an advanced instructor.. many thanks for keeping my head where it should be..
You're welcome!
Motojitsu you're Like Saint.👍👍 Almost everyone talk about head but not upper body! 1,2,3👍👍👍You show perfectly on this video🙏. I practiced this > my riding comfort and confidance changed a lot. Thank you from🇹🇷🇹🇷
You’re welcome!
I viewed this yesterday and practiced today and was stunned at how well it works -thank you! 👍🏻👍🏿👍🏼👍🏾👍🏽
My only concern was hoping my head position didn’t look too proud. Proverbs 16:16-17...
But the way the bike responds to head position blew me away. Do you know if there is a specific word that describes the dynamics of how the energy(or whatever is happening) travels down into the bike?
thanks
MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.
Great information and camera angle make for a powerful presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Over 300 videos to go through, watch my video called "Your Best Friend: The Brakes"
Omg .... I see this all the time... you do it.... ought to pass this out with all sport bikes sold
Share with everyone! lol
You are amazing Sir. I cannot afford classes from where I come from nor do we have race tracks across and/or knowledgable instructors, but your videos(atleast from the street riding perspective) really helps as the region I come from is basically mountainous.
Awesome!! Keep watching, sharing the videos with others, and practicing!
Braking demonstrations please
Love your work.Stay safe :)
I have one! Search through!
Dude, you are on point with your explanation.Loved the part when you point out mistakes of others w/facial expressions 🤣 lmao. Keep it real, your the best to moto community.
thanks!
Best bike lesson ever
😁👌🏼
I worked on slow stuff in a parking lot yesterday and my cornering improved drastically when I started pointing my chin. Turns got tighter and smoother once I added the good head turn. Awesome😎 A Resuscitated Rider
Nice!! :)
Thank you for all of your efforts and passion for safe riding. I’ve become a better rider practicing what you demonstrate in your videos. From basics to advance riding skills. You helped me overcome my fear of slow speed riding and U turns, I now look for opportunities to actually go through them and it feels great. Thanks again.
you're welcome!!
Check out MotoJitsu.com for my books, merch, app, discounts, etc.
@@MotoJitsu just downloaded the App. Good stuff. Thank you.
thanks!! NOW GO PRACTICE! Start with White Belt
Just wanted to let you know that this video has helped me out sooooo much. I feel a lot more confident in the twisties now, like a LOT more confident. The bikes position feels safe and smooth as butter when your body is in the correct position! Imagine that! :) Thanks man.
P.S. I ride a BMW F 750GS. I know you moved on from the GS, but I'm sure you can still appreciate it! ;)
Good to hear it :)
Awesome!
:)
You are such a good teacher. 😊
Thanks Karuna!
I've been riding for 3 years now with no formal training. Turning my shoulders into the corner as you describe has been by far the biggest "ah ha" moment I've had riding. I found so many benefits to doing this. Love your videos mate. Keep them coming.
Get into courses!!
@@MotoJitsu High on the priority list for the first half of this year. Going to do a basic cornering and braking course and then look at CSS. Stay safe and keep the vids coming.
