Forget me not is my favourite. In Sweden there are these songs meant to teach kids the alphabet and they’re all themed around plants and for F (first letter of my name) it was forget me not, so I’ve liked it since I was a child.
The black rose is the symbol if eternal love, as it shows ones deep and intense feelings. The black rose is also a tattoo that symbolizes the strength and resilience that helps us push through hard times. Though the red rose is common to show passion, the black rose symbolizes a love so deep that it transcends time and stands unwavering through any storm it might face.
I’ve never thought deeply about flowers until I started working at a local flower shop. That’s when I truly fell in deep love with flowers and genuinely plants. Every individual flower (even if it’s the same species, size and colour) is unique, and that’s what makes it so beautiful Thank you so much for your video, now I’m curious and want to do more research on flower language!
My favorite flower right now is probably the sunflower, since they are huge, though that could easily change once I do more research into this. Also, thank you for listing your sources! I will definitely try to incorporate more floral language in my art!
Thanks for this video! As a kid, I was such a fan of the anime Ojamajo Doremi and in season 2 they run a flower shop and they talk a lot about the meaning of flowers. It's such a heart-warming anime + they're all cool witches! I love it
I came to this video by way of a desire to understand the symbolism of the tarot on a deeper level, which includes flowers; thank you for a lovely introduction into the history of Floriography.
my favorites are lilacs. there was a bunch of lilac bushes by my early childhood home, as well as one in the playground at my school. theres also one at the house i live at now. wherever ive been, theres aways been lilacs, so theyre nostalgic to me
I loved the way you explained everything in the video! My favorite flowers are lilys, initially becuase of their shape and color but after elarning their meaning I like them more
I think mine is probably lily of the valley, it's not one that stands out and is much more delicate than most other flowers but Idk I just like it a ton
I always thought the black rose was a symbol of death. As is the case with the color black more generally. And that flowers in general can also be symbolic of death since flowers are often what people bring to funerals to place on the gravestone.
My favorite flowers are sunflower, korean forsythia, and dandelion. Yes, they're all yellow, which is my favorite color. Combine yellow with black, and I am the danger sign *evil laugh*
Marigold is mine... It is adored a lot here in India, for spiritual purposes and often offered to the goddess of wealth. The fragrance is really nostalgic and the colour is to dye for hahah
The black rose’s dual meaning for both eternal love and sorrow might not so incongruous expressing that even the pain of death cannot separate the eternal love of the lovers even as one must suffer with sorrow.
My favorite flower is the Lily of the Valley for many reasons other than it's just pretty. The Lily of the Valley is a poisonous flower that can kill you yet it represents joy, luck, sincerely, and happiness. I also have my own personal meaning about how when other flowers are droopy it means they're dying or dead, but a Lily of the Valley is meant to be droopy. There's more but I'm running out of space and I think it's important for everyone to find they're own interpretation.
your french is pretty good, but it's a matter of accentuation, the close i can get for a phonetic prononciation in english is dik-si-on-air du lang-aj day fl-hers ... i'm not that good to translate sounds to words but it's something like that, so you got it right from the start, except small accentuations things... well in all cases very good video and fascinating topic
To be honest it was mostly a matter of accent but to sound french you gotta live in France for decades... and believe me it's not worth the accent with that said, hope you release new videos soon and have merry xmas

There are two bands called “Language of flowers.” One is early 2000s pop rock, the other is modern prog metal. Both really good
I love the red rose. To me that is the definitive romantic flower. The most romantic flower gift you can give is a single black rose, I think. 🌹

Jasmine is my favorite flower ever! Those flowers smell inexplicably amazing especially at night.
I've only known the fragrance of jasmines during the daytime and I love them already. The smell at night must be amazing.
@@kjrasa it is! I hope you will have the opportunity to smell it at night.😁

I love black roses because I i like to think there's beauty in the darkness
Sorrow is connected to eternal business, as in the darkness is the intention of shared joy
