Iquique! I know a place! Big love for this Chilean city and its people. Some of the best weeks of my life were spent here. Paragliding over the city and landing on the beach was amazing. Pintados and the giant of the Atacama are such beautiful places as is the oasis and the nitrite mines. I love Chile and its people.
I remember the days growing up here, when you could drive down the hill and all you saw was a runway strip, from the old days before it was moved. Even Zofri was a tiny tiny mall barely taking off with giant warehouses behind it, incredible how so much has changed over the years. Wow!
Cuanto ha cambiado , estuve allí en el 2009 y me enamore de ese lugar !!! Recorri el desierto de Atacama, me bañe en una piscina natural en un oasis la gente maravillosa , se los recomiendo !!!
Muy lindo pero padecí el 2 terremotos terribles, que no volvería más. El último de 8 grados espantoso y en el 2010 otro en Viña, es desgraciadamente algo que me aterra.
