- In this video, I'm fixing some wrecked factory signs on this beautiful rifle and as the client didn't know how to disassemble his Hotchkiss, I prepared a little tutorial!
Please don't get confused, this is model 1879, not 1883. Thank you for pointing that out.
The man, the myth, the legend... Andre is back, and he will do it.
He's back! Glad you're doing well
It took a worldwide pandemic to bring him back!

Wow! I nearly schitt my pants when you filed off the barrel stamping, but wow again - great work!
Very impressive !!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see episode 2 !!!!!!!!!
He’s back! The god of restoration is back. Tystube or my mechanics have nothing on you!
Super! Приятно посмотреть всегда на работу-МАСТЕРА!
..have a great year in '21..
So glad you're back with awesome content! The patience that had to have taken is remarkable. Great work, as always!
Yeah, glad you are back! Didn't get a notification!

Dang! I want one of those really bad!

Nice, if you didn't know it was redone you clumsy tell 😁👍
Good to see you! I'm happy you're back :D
Welcome back!
I would also love love love to see a video about that Reichsrevolver you got on that table.
Glad to see a new video!
I wish you well in the new year!
Nice work. On the laser etch, could you have done 15+ passes in the same program with the laser for deeper letters? Thanks
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Good see you again,
Salve from Minas Gerais, Brasil.
BROTHER long time, good to see you are well and making videos 😁👍
More please
The wood on that rifle is in beautiful condition.
@@MastersOfCraftOfficial I read that the reason they went to the two piece stock was because these would crack very easily. Great job.
Outstanding. Thanks. I enjoyed that
Hey thats interesting
Finally another gun video!!
I didn't know that the texts were roll stamped, I thought they were engraved like you were doing 😁👍
Wow a new video!? I must admit I didn't expect to see any new videos from you ever again. I thought it had become another abandoned channel here on youtube - I'm glad I was wrong. :)
Why? What is happening?
it'srreally good to see u again 🙂
@@MastersOfCraftOfficial Yeah I know youtube makes it difficult for channels that do firearms and weapons, but you did other kind of videos in the past, with a different content, have you considered going back and do that kind of videos again? :)
That's a total nonsense but not surprised considering the world we are living nowadays. What a pity!
continue the good job. Ans why not like suggested making videos with no weapon where you get paid and keeping the rest for pleasure 😉.
@@MastersOfCraftOfficial Okay I didn't know you're professional gunsmith/restorer, and I can see that would be a problem. On the upside you have a lot of work, and can provide for yourself and your family - many people do not have that fortunate luck in these cursed times, with that damn virus and all.
Stay safe my friend, and I hope to see more videos in the near future. :)
Great video! Do you have any plans on posting a video on your other channel?
great job!!
You’re back!
Outstanding
Thank god 2020 didn't claim you too!
The first prototype of this was made out a surplus chassepot carbine , certainly in France
After you boiled it just curious did you use fine steel wool inside the barrel and action to remove the surface rust like you carded on the outside?
Why not laser all the way? I suppose it look more authentic if hand engraved?
6:02 Nice to see that 1879 Reichsrevolver right there.
Andre why do you make so little videos? Everyone loves your content, but it is just not frequent enough.
Have you decided to become a gunsmith Andre?
👍👍
Awwwwwwww yussss!
Welcome back
Hows the cat and pony ??
Hey Andre, do you have any Updates on your Cat and your pony? I am curious how they are doing :)
What metal filler do you use that accepts blueing?
👍🏻👊🏻
I thought the 1883 model had a two piece stock? Are you sure this isn't the first or second model?
I have one of those but it has crack in the stock where you grip it.
@@MastersOfCraftOfficial How did you repair the crack?
Hello. Let's be friends Belarus Farmer 🤝👍😎
Now you have to restore the rest of the gun as it doesn't look as good as your work
