He's a public figure scientist, so things about him are of public interest ehich is what he built a whole podcasting career for, and his very messy personal life does play a role in his trustworthiness which is something that Huberman banks on when he gives advice on his podcast listened by millions.

A cheating boyfriend can still be a first-class scientist. A scientologist can still be a great actor. And so on. My observation is that virtually every interesting person has at least one crazy take or some character flaws. The only people who don´t have that are literal NPCs: The guys who only say what the 8´o clock news say and always do what society expects them to do and never have any thought or interest by themselves. I am honestly so sick and tired of this expectation that puplic people have to be perfect (whatever that currently means), and if they are not anymore, EVERYTHING the say and do is suddenly wrong. Well it’s a lot of hearsay. Think back to the worst argument you’ve had with someone, now imagine they told their side of the story to a reporter and it was put out. And because of that people said you didn’t deserve your job.
People aren’t black and white, we’re gray. There’s no evidence. And you gotta consider context. Motive. It’s possible he cheated on his gf. It’s possible he didn’t, they had a bad breakup and she wanted revenge. It’s possible the reporter needed to hit his quota or would be fired and invented the story.
I think to make a character judgement based on a news article with no supporting evidence is naive.

The greatest power in you is your ability to let go of the expectations of the world, and love and accept it as it is, yourself included. You can never be greater than what you are now, which is the beauty of this moment and this life. When you realize you already have everything, you can finally let go of what you wish to achieve.

Yeah this is one thing I disagree with him on. Like yeah his life style shouldn’t take away the work he had done (as long as he isn’t preaching one thing and doing another). But lying is a whole different matter. ESPECIALLY to a significant other. Because it calls into question what other things you’re willing to lie about to people you don’t even know. But I guess these are all just allegations at the end of the day.
