This song is so sick! One of my favorite guitar solos of all time!!
I'm a very hot and luke warm devildriver fan - this is their #1 song to me. The first 4 on their 1st album, almost the entire second, and most of their third album, truly top notch. It starts getting kinda spotty after that - appetite, bitter pill, I've been sober, but they did some good songs on outlaws album, especially in the first 4 tunes, def worth the look
Great reaction! 👏
Love your metal knowledge and energy. Nice ankh.
DevilDriver has been one of my favorite bands since my early teens. Them and Lamb of God.
This song is simply spectacular and I am a HUGE Lamb of God fan. We have stuff in common, my friend.
Yeah thanks for reacting to clouds over California John I'm glad you like it. Devil Driver does sound different from coal chamber like a more straight up hard core metal which was what Dez was going for when he formed the band so it's a refreshing take on his new music. It's a shame that Coal Chamber had a very short reunion years ago and one new cd Rivals but it just didn't work out as well as Dez hoped it would even after many years apart but i'll gladly take Devil Driver because they sound amazing I need to listen to more of their songs to. If you want you can check out another Devil Driver song called I could care less. I think it's one the first songs they wrote together as a band stay safe and Healthy out there John and thanks again for reacting to them🆒🆒👍👍🤘🤘
My pleasure, SK.
There Is more And more their significant pieces. Before The hangmans noose was my introduce to them... Bitter Pill, The Axe shall fall, Winter Kills, Digging up The corpses, Coldblooded... Evil on Swift Wings, Black soul choir ...Jesus So many many great songs i can't remember all of them now... But Always their songs have Idea, rythm, solos, energy And they are very catchy And easy memorable.
this was one band that a fell in love with at first listen, the other was kataklysm.
I am extremely unfamiliar wiith these guys. I am a lot more familiar with Coal Chamber. But, this song is pretty outstanding.
Some of the kids in the video are band members actuall offspring.
Was that "ghost riders in the sky" that they did a collab with lamb of God with mark mark morton
The Haunted-DOA
I forgot that Coal Chamber existed; lol 😂. I saw them at Ozz Fest. Pontiac Silverdome. I think it was the 2nd??? They had me at Devil Driver. I'm not really into this style of singing. But the music is outstanding!!!! I'm hardwired to like 3 dirty distorted chords! The rythm section is Rock solid and the guitar tone is thicker than peanut butter. Outstanding metal!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎵🎶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😎
I fuckin' loved this. Yes, I do believe it was Ozzfest #2. I went to every Ozzfest in Philly from #2 on. I missed the first one, but that was the only one. When I saw Coal Chamber, I had never even heard of them. I used to LOVE going to Ozzfest. It became a big annual thing for me and my friends. Good times, my Brother. Good times.

I found this song like a year or two ago randomly on Spotify, along with another song called Clouds Connected by In Flames, and Locust by Machine Head
I'm not familiar with Cound Connected. But, I am beyond familiar with Locust as I'm a HUGE Machine Head fan. They have a TON of great music. Listed to Halo, it's pretty special.
I first heard this in 2008 when I downloaded this song as a DLC song for the rock band video game when I had a ps3
Claude
I've heard of them but never listened to them. It's def not bad. About as far as I go with the "Cookie Monster" Voice but, I could see me jamming to this. Good Stuff. Thanks man. 🤘✌
I don't consider these vocals to be Cookie Monster stuff. Now, Cannibal Corpse? THAT is some serious Cookie Monster vocals at its finest. Thanks for watching and all of your support, Fredrick. Be well, my friend.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts Either way. This or Slaughter to prevail are about as harsh as I like em. I will admit though. Some of it is growing on me.✌
There is two tracks on UA-cam the band name was born of the storm…the track nowhere fast is fucking cool..!! check it out
I've actually heard of Born of the Storm. Was that the project he worked on with Mark Morton from Lamb of God? Maybe? Maybe not? Wither way, I added this to the request list. Thank you.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts it was mark and dez..!! Got a properly souther style to it bls/down kind of vibe
Hard to find good band as Devildriver and Machine Head these days..try out DryKillLogic any song from their first album The Darkess Side Of Nonsense
Machine Head's The Blackening is one of my favorite Metal albums of all time. It's a masterpiece. I don't love their newer stuff from Catharsis and didn't listen to their latest album yet. I have added Drykill Logic to the request list. Thank you.
listen to devildriver not all who wander are lost way better song and video, and pray for villains.
Got'em. I've placed them both on the request list.
