Hello! Thank you for your video! I am a new teacher for children with special needs and incorporating explicit instruction on graphic organizing into our writing instruction. So helpful, thank you!
Love graphic organizers. I use them for writing. Most recently we read the Snow Globe family. Then the kids had to think what they would do if they were stuck in a snow globe. The organizer I used had them think of an opening sentence, then the beginning middle and end. From there they wrote their narrative story.
That is precisely what I need to improve my writing strategies. I can't wait to try it with my kinder students!
Yay! So glad this will be helpful!
Let me know in the comments if you use graphic organizers for reading and/or writing!

Hello! I really like all your teaching tips. I was wondering if you have any ideas for students who speak Spanish only.
