After departing at 8:00am for tonsure and bath, the travel bus company arranges taxis with a waiting period of 30 minutes to an hour, costing approximately 50₹. These taxis transport us to the APTDC hotel, where we have 1.5 hours for breakfast before proceeding for darshan around 11:00am.

No, it depends upon individual to individual as per their wish. You can get a full head shave or just few hairs.
