@@AAComputersandTechnology I would also like to see the progress on your property, could you share your personal channel in that case. My wife and I are saving for some property in east Tn.
That's ok. You do what you got to do. Job and education also helping your father is more important than UA-cam. I hope that you are doing well with work and school. Also in a matter of fact, I am living in a farm since February.
New land owner. Very cool. Simple solar homesteading is a website with simple plans on building tiny homes: from small homes on trailers to 400sqft homes, all for a couple grand. Solar cabin channel showcases his 400sqft home on his own piece of land.
It's fine to stepped out of youtube for a sec and have some quality time in the woods, LoL. I really love your lowbudget reviews and upgrade, this channel is cool.
You have done great job there. Since Covid 19 thing started, I made my own Fruit garden. So in 3 to 5 year we will have apples, pears, chokeberry, cherrys.
yea you also need to be aware of trees and what damage they can cause depending on what you build there and you need to maintain the old trees but that land is gorgeous and it would be a dream to have a shed there and come and work , bunch of diy projects, filming I hope you are at least imagining how it will be once youre finished and how much space, freedom and creativity you will be able to unleash there, just imagine chilling in your house looking trough the window theres a nice lake, trees, maybe some animals, wind blowing and sun shining inbetween trees, just beautiful sight to see and spend time in, maybe some camping during winder, Halloween time not only the view, but smell, feel, I also hope no noisy neighbors out there but I dont think you will have an issue with that have a metal detector to check if there is any unwanted dangers hiding underneath, i would also build green wire fence around the property just to be safe , maybe door or two on that fence, even hidden passageway or underground space, if you leave some good strong big trees you can build a damn good tree house even with a bridge leading to another tree house(reminds me of that psx game called "heart of darkness", or even world of warcraft)
Seller didn’t mention a creek or the deer stand because previous owner didn’t want to scare potential buyers of hunters trespassing into your property w/o permission & random people fishing in the water which is public domain. Now that the property is yours. You need to make an effort to protect & defend it. Fence and Gate the public road access to your private road. Put No Trespassing signs. Place hidden Game Cameras. Buy a Gun.
did that 4Runner replace the Crown Vic and/or Prius? Also, as someone who has to help out with cutting and stacking wood for heat. I know its a lot of work. Good luck!
very different dident know you were a counrty loving guy i thought you were just tec hope you do and show us what you build maybe it floods ? there that is why they dodent say anything about the creek ?when i was about 23 i had a shack on 47acres of sort of grain growing place but i built a small shack on it so hope you get good solar outfit there
A small part of the property outside of the RPA area is in a flood zone, a majority of the land is high and dry though. I'll probably start out with solar and eventually bring in city utilities when I can!
Hey, don't hire a truck to take your tree cuttings away. Stash them in piles and just let them rot away and get some humus and mulch. (Save the money you pay for the truck)
I see you have a lot of work to do, but is there a way to use on old laptop as a monitor and keyboard connected to a 2020 smartphone. Like a nexdock help joe
TRASH REMOVAL - SORT IT! Get all the REAL trash into a pile for a dumpster. You may not HAVE enough for a dumpster if you do it right, if so, load a trailer and take it to the nearest landfill and pay the fee. For all the vegetation, rent the largest wood chipper you can, and chip it up. Move the output chute of the chipper around to spread it over the ground, and it will compost quickly enough. If you do this once all the trees are down and sorted into piles, you can get the chipping done in a few days. Check the rental fees, sometimes weekdays are cheaper than weekends. If you're not going to use the larger pieces, just stack them near the road with a "Free firewood" sign and it will disappear quickly enough. Leave any hardwood trunks as long as you can handle them (using a towstrap on the 4Runner), woodworkers may want them. You could also check online for local woodworker groups, and see if they'll do the work for you - tag the trees you want removed, they can cut them down and cut them to the size they want and remove them. Or cut them down and tag them for woodworkers to remove. Do that, and you'll spend almost nothing and clear it out quickly. Oh, and cut a few of the larger trunks lengthwise and drop them over that ditch to make a flat "bridge" that won't get you stuck.
I hope that wood is going to get recycled...... Maybe post online that it is free to any woodworkers/carpenters for the next few days. Reduces that amount of stuff going to waste.
i would so be down for a build series on this
Maybe, if I were to do that I would do it on my personal channel!

Looks like a fun project! Congrats!
Thanks for the update and congrats! You got a great looking piece of land!
Pretty cool. Build a small bridge across the creek!

Perfect time to test a rugged laptop

Very American. Love it.
I live on the Chesapeake Bay too. Love it

Also. A build/ Progress series on this would be awesome
The 4Runner replaced the Prius, I still have the Crown Vic. I handed the Prius down to my sister. It's very tedious, thanks!
AA Computers and Technology If you don't mind me asking, what are the specs of the 4runner?

Reminds me of the northern necks
What happened to the police cruiser.
It's still in my driveway. I drive it every two weeks or so. That's also a planned video.... sometime in the future :p
AA Computers and Technology You also now have an excuse to buy a boat, pickup truck, ATV, quad bike & dirt bike for your property. 😉
Mysteriously unmentioned 'waterfront' ? Probably because of all the unexplained disappearances.... ;)
Great video, although I prefer a gas powered chainsaw
also anyone annoyed by the fact that the comments section is moved on mobile at least.
