love it.. 1:18 showed the guy that he needs to scream longer.. keep going, keep going.. nothing easier than a 10 second scream from the top of your lungs...
OMG freaking amazing. Faith No More was everything. I had tickets for a concert at the Vancouver Coliseum in 1992 guns n' roses, Metallica And Faith No More. We got 10 of the best tickets and the concert was canceled because James they said burnt his hand. I thought this was rather suspect because why would GNR and Faith No More continue the tour. Especially when 10 years later I got tickets for another GNR concert and because axel arrived in Vancouver late he canceled the entire concert and everybody rioted. Needless to say I'm not an actual fan anymore. But anyway I digress this video is amazing. I can just talk old rock and roll forever.
I had tix for the same tour in Toronto and it was postponed for the same reason. I think the Toronto show was supposed to be the next show after James had the accident in Montreal. I saw the rescheduled show when James wasn't playing guitar. It was the only time FNM played Toronto on the Angel Dust tour. Wish they'd done a smaller venue for AD.
@@newbreedofnerd it really was very disappointing. I never did get to see Faith No More live. So hard to believe they were really considered the backup band. In those days I was surprised he even survived a concert. LOL how awesome to see him perform live. I can understand what you mean though about a smaller venue. The Coliseum is absolutely enormous. In the day and I really mean the day haha They would close off all the seats and just sell enough tickets for the floor. Something tells me you probably have never heard of this band but one of the best concerts I ever saw in that venue was Black Oak Arkansas in 19 74. It turned into a party with the band they were drinking Jack Daniels out of the bottle and Jim Dandy would take a few hits and then hand the bottle out to the audience. Everyone would take a shot pass it back what an amazing vibe. Sorry I've been up all night binging on UA-cam so I did digress slightly. LOL anyway I'm curious who played for James at that concert and how long did it take him to recover do you know? I could Google but it's not as much fun. Thanks for responding and have a great day.
Are you sure this was 1999? I've seen FNM live in Germany in 1992 and there was the Angel Dust album cover on the ticket (still have most of my concert tickets in my guest bathroom). 1992 to 1999 would have been a hell of tour. I had a ticket for FNM in 2021 or 22 (can't remember the original date), that got postponed several times because of Covid and then got cancelled because of Mike's mental health issues. I was pretty bummed about this.
Kris thank you so much. You are absolutely right I was off by 5 years give or take. I'm so glad you responded I hate sounding like a lightweight and getting my concert dates wrong. The dates really are important. Much appreciated. Have a very amazing Christmas. Something tells me 2023 is going to be the year of completely chilling out. LOL
Fue en “ The Troubadour “ un lugar legendario donde se hacen conciertos épicos, localizado en West Hollywood.Si tienes oportunidad de ir a ver a tu Banda favorita aquí, vas a tener una memoria para siempre
That is not FNM on stage, but that sure as fuck is mike, I would say he has gone out for the night and joined in with the band playing. Something similar happened to me when I was out drinking in the mid 90s , and the cranberry’s had called of the tour due to the lead singer having broken her leg, however she and a number of the band were out drinking in the same bar, and she started singing with the cover band on that night , she opened up with zombie and it was surreal as she sounded just like the lead singer lol 😂 but yeah some singers don’t have the massive ego that dictates that if they are there everyone needs to know about it and they need gruella bodyguards lol
Oh God these newbies who discovered FNM last wk..think they know all about the band. It's great to see MP actually enjoying singing FNM music unlike when it was a job back 10 yrs ago or early days, to pay the mortgage and keep his bands going, or where he had contempt for the very ppl who loved his music. He now actually enjoys performing FNM songs now. Maturity with age and fine aged wine Patton now too..with visible gratitude. Love ya Mike.
Stuff like this always makes me laugh when I hear other artists "have" to lip sync because they are too out of breath from choreography during live shows lol. Maybe Beyonce just isn't a good singer lol.
That Crazy MTF didn´t calm down with age. great!
Most underrated singer and artist
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen
The way he holds the microphone... Brilliant man!
love it.. 1:18 showed the guy that he needs to scream longer.. keep going, keep going.. nothing easier than a 10 second scream from the top of your lungs...
Everything about this is awesome.
Looks like the best concert ever
I was lucky enough to be there, dove right on me off the bar
the best faith no more live video was this show. the most relaxed and fun, and tight as hell.
The best way to travel. "To the bar if you please. Ah, that's better. Now, to the stage.".
This might be the best video on UA-cam.
I’m so jealous of that one person who got to have Mike Patton scream in their face
Mike monster
Pretty sure faith no more cannot be contained in "normal" venues, lol.
I'm sure you meant ANY venue 😂😂😂
Epic! Thats a concert you wont forget
Nah, it wasn't Epic...it was Ashes to Ashes...

They will, this year.
Great that it was filmed by someone but damn, all the phones. Sigh...
+TrephineArtist scary shit
TrephineArtist Abso-mutha fucking-lutely. (To quote an old friend of Jim Martin's). Fucking drones.
You say that now. But if you were there and Mike crowd surfed to the bar, had a shot, then floated back on stage, you'd wanna capture that moment too.
then a 5 minute intermission to untangle the microphone wire. lol
Wireless
@@TrueDuckFan You can see the wire.
The best wish I was there
love it
Can't believe he managed that with a wired mic!
Three people died but it happens

Patton reminds me of a strange blend between Brenden Fraser and Rory Culkin.
