I cant stop rewatching this film. Not even for the kills. I just love watching James Judes mannerisms and the way he moves..halloween 4 5 curse h20 resurrection or zombie didnt do it like James jude. He is a perfect torch carrier for nick castle

I've seen Halloween Kills with failure of watching Halloween (2018). Finally catching up, I am a fan of how James portrayed Michael. How his head moves and general stature is an accurate representation of how a person can imagine how The Shape is. I almost forgot that Michael was in his sixties in the timeline. With the mask on, he is ageless. Such a big fan of the new movies!
My favourite moment was Michael testing out the knives on Lenny's back as Sondra was watching..sooooo fucked up. Testing knives or just putting in as many until he was down to one..I also loved Allyson stabbing Michael 3x before he slams her forehead into the stair handrail. I may have lol'ed. Can't wait to see Halloween Ends!! Seeing it on Halloween out here in Australia.
JJC is a wonderful human being. I believe that everyone in the cast and crew loves the franchise, each other, and making this trilogy. I think that part is what I’m drawn to the most with these films. Ive heard some hate about kills, and some really knit picky things but to me the love that they tried to put into this is genuine and does come through.

I saw Kills the other night, and enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the first half hour, which I thought was the strongest part of the film. Other than some flaws here and there, if there's one thing that David Gordon Green and Danny McBride need to stop in Ends, is to cut out the slow motion. It was way overused in the second half of Kills, and feels out of place for a film like this. Just my preference, but I prefer less OTT stylish stuff in a Halloween film. Myers was great though and was the best aspect of the film. James Jude Courtney is the best Myers next to Castle, though I think he's equally as good. His performance in the role and the look of Myers is the main reason I'm looking forward to Ends. Excellent interview BTW, and Happy Halloween!
Never thought I'd say this... But JJC was definitely as good as Nick Castle! Impossible to be better because without Nick, The Shape may never have been as big of a deal. Both guys are head and shoulders above all other actors who have played the part. Giving Dick Warlock a very distant 2nd.

I really liked both “Halloween” 2018 and “Halloween Kills” a lot, and that’s coming from someone who originally was against the idea of an alternate timeline that retconned all of the previous sequels, as I was (and still am) a fan of most of the films in the original timelines (parts 1, 2, 4, some of 6, and H20). I’ve been a fan of the films since I was a kid (about 7 or 8 years old, maybe younger). While there are some shortcomings in “Halloween Kills,” for a lot of what I consider to be logical reasons, I can look past them, as I believe the positives far outweighed and outnumbered the negatives (plus, to be honest, a lot of the nitpicks I’m hearing are based on unstable arguments that contradict themselves). This movie had some of the best moments in the entire franchise, and James’ performance is one of the main reasons why this movie and the previous one worked so well. Excellent horror film, and excellent “Halloween” film.

The SHAPE has never BEEN AS GREAT AS AS HE HAS IN HKILLS. My absolute favorite part of this New batch of films. Now we need acting like that of the young Danielle Harris. Harris set the acting and believability for me. How she stole every scene in that film with her stellar and fashioned delivery at such a young age still baffles me. They really need to stop sleeping on all that Danielle has added to the series. I would much rather see traumatized version of Jamie, rather than we got. I need to get my hands on this franchise so I could literally scare the shit (spelling) outta US !!! Family line gone? NO PROBLEM, I've got just the perfect scenario. A clear focus, a clear antagonist and The HALLOWEEN FEELS. The ORIGINAL SCORE from HALLOWEEN. POV slow-burn and abruptness all at once. Memorable and REAL SET-PIECES. No soundstage. No one playing Puppet Master to what is just an EVIL that uses his White mask, Dark cover all's, Kitchen knife and stealth to stalk what WE HAVE ALL HAD has a kid. A Babysitter, her friends and dark Halloween night.
Halloween Kills was a mixed bag of reviews, I wouldn't say this movie was well received. Either way, it thought it was a good thrill ride, just a shame about some of the writing (e.g. dumb characters, the mental patient and the mob mentality side plot)
The movies were great 2018 2021 the only thing i didn't agree with was the comedy parts i just don't believe being funny goes with scary that's why they are separate genre's
