Alternate Watch - Updated Intruder & Corpse Events

- A compilation of most, if not all, of the various intruders in the new Alternate Watch update which combines Observation Duty with the Mandela Catalogue. It turns out I had missed a flawed human in the previous version and with this update a few more flawed humans have been added along with a new corpse anomaly. Intruders have been renamed to "Preacher" anomalies.
In most cases I used the old footage for the anomalies I already had so there are timestamps to help if you are just looking for the new stuff. I'm reasonably sure this is all of them after 20+ rounds but some anomalies are pretty rare so if I did miss something do let me know!
I'll be trying to keep an eye out for future updates to look for new intruders.

The master bedroom corpse one is so chilling and disturbing, and notice how the room name at the middle top says “BAD DECISION MARK” the developer really nailed the references, i think in the next update they should add the hanging mother in the kids room as corpse
Why was it a bad decision? I feel like under the circumstances that was one of the best ones.
@@SavageHunter1112 im not very familiar with TMC, but the two leading answers i could find is that it was a bad decision because it allowed 'it' to possess his body, the other answer is that the alternate was simply mocking him
@@bobbertrisits because mark offed himself. Causing him to go to hell. And if you didnt know. Alternates are demons. Basically mark offed him to escape but ended up being sent to the alternates home.
Would've been better if they actually showed it instead of copping out with the black censor box

This game give me the impression, when the player choose what kind of entities haunts the house, immediately a bunch of crewmen when into the house & remove the entities like moving out furnitures.
Now I can't unsee them carrying a preacher on their shoulders in single file.

People have been making variations of this joke since the first I'm on Observation Duty game and it never ceases to be funny. It's even funnier in this situation because it's so hekkin scary - like you're watching the Alternates in horror, fingers trembling as you select a report, then boom, FBI breaks down the door and just hauls the freaky long-faced lady out
I think the freakiest part about the *pure form* in the bathroom, is that the reflection doesn't match.

My personal headcanon is that the way the anomalies are removed is by placing a device in each room that activates once the anomaly gets reported. It emits some sort of magnetic pulse or sound frequency that repels/hurts the entities and makes them fly away from the room.
Maybe by repeatedly hurting them during the night, they figure out that the environment in the house is too hostile to inhabit and they leave

Taking a closer look, the yellow shirted flawed seems to be the most aggressive, as she seems to reach closer to the camera, as if to disable it just before getting reported, its a nice detail and it seems that some are on a scale of activity and how often they return, If yall want I can try to take a look at each anamoly and their movements to see what they do before getting reported

one of the beauties of analogue horror is the way they deal with fear. there’s rarely fear of death, it’s more like fear of fear. the washington monument analogue horror story is a good example of this. being attacked isn’t really the issue, it’s the idea of being trapped and you can do nothing about it

For everyone who still doesn't know what each means
Displacement: When an object in the room is moved.
Mimic: When they mimic an object that was in the room and either stay next to the original or move somewhere else.
Imagery: When a picture, painting or drawing is changed.
Unknown: When you can't categorize it.
Corpse: A dead body.
Tulpa: An Alternate that can only be seen in the mirror.
Intruder/Preacher: A shroud with a white face that speaks.
Electric: When there's a camera error or lights turn on and off or the TV turns on too.
Flawed: When It's a person with obviously flawed features.
Pure Form: A black/Dark/Shadowy humanoid creature with white eyes.
Corpse (old): this isn't used in the game.

The Pure Form is easily the least scary one, due to the head twitching being too FNAFy.

Ikr, they should have some of the flawed human alternates actually try to “hide” around the house, like they’re waiting for someone to walk in the room. Crouching behind furniture, standing in a dark corner, peeking through a door frame, etc. Then when you report them, they do unique animations like looking at the camera, crawling away from the hiding spot, head to another room, etc. I think it would make it hella creepy

4:50 this is the scariest flawed imo. Faceless is incredibly unsettling to me and having it stare at the camera just makes it worse
and the fact that it looks so normal at the same time.
I feel like the ones freaking out and moving are not scary, but the ones that move slowly, or just not move at all, are waaaay scarier, and they always need to be looking at the camera to send down shivers

there’s been very few games that really feel like a mandela catalogue game. sure maple county was a good one but it was waaaay to short. this one not only feels like your really looking at alternates but it does a great job of making you look closely to find differences in the rooms. also yes i enjoy mandela catalogue im aloud to like stuff.

My theory is that this is a simulation ran in the facilities in charge of containing the "alternates" phenomenon. The problem arises when the longer the agents are exposed to the simulation the more they become a target for the real alternate shown in it, as if they share a consciousness between the real one and any visual representation, so by the time you reach the secret ending you have excited them so much that they track down the facilities and try to rampage inside.

I think they only added the corpse as a reference to Mark’s death, which makes sense since they also made other Mandela Catalog references
