Great Fly man!!! On mine I mixed tailron for more roll authority and added a 9 channel AS3X ( take some time because the Spektrum program does not allow this configuration without a mixing board like in the F14, but in the end I find a "not" regular configuration to do that) .
Now I have the roll authority this plane need, rock solid in every situation, and flaperon + speed brake is awesom for high nose landing. You have to try, you will love it !

I bought this plane when it first came out and she is a winner. She only takes 1 6 cell lipo and has decent speed and power. The plane is very easy to fly
How mach
Seems to vary from place to place so check with your local or regional horizon hobby retailer. Here in the US they are currently discontinued BUT that could be due to them giving it a SMART upgrade like they did with the 64mm A-10 Recently-soon as I have more news I will let everyone know🙂
Looks like a nail in the wall Rich !! I sold mine after 2 flights and got the mig -29 from motion… muuuuch better now.
Like everything I guess it’s personal preference-I can’t really comment on the motion mig other than to say that not everybody will be able to afford or want to have two 6s Lipo batteries in a 6s jet-especially when you look at what you can get from Banana Hobby now with their 105mm Airofoam 12s models (again 2x 6s lipo but 12s power and comparable flight times). That’s the great thing about the hobby we have so many different models to choose from these days:)
Nice video, I haven't flown any of these, But I love them and looking forward to own one. flying them appears to be so sweet. I wonder if there is any tutorial on how to fly them so awesome plane.

The idea of using one 6s battery in the nose is the biggest problem imo
Not sure why they didn't use air brake compartment for battery placement it would eliminate need of 115g ballast in the tail
I would recommend checking the elevator servo wires ,mine were stripped in factory and caused the crash on take off

Excellent flight, when you go up one taking off from grass, and how you feel it, some comments say that it is too heavy in body and in flight.
Ok... we will do some grass flights next:)
Add extra magnets in the nose. My nose and the replacement nose were both destroyed on a less than perfect landing. The stock mags aren't strong enough.
Mine seem ok.

Hi Richard, great video! You mentioned you are going to have a flight from a grass field that I cannot find. Did you ever fly the SU-30 from grass? Or she simply did not take off from a grass runway? I like the plane but if she cannot take off from the grass, she is not for me! Appreciate your thoughts. Hassan

Only thing I don't like about these heavier 6S and 8S jets the batteries just don't last more then a few minutes before really need to start thinking about landing. There is no go around you better land it the first time .

I cannot balance were you suggested. I get a balance at 150 mm with the battery as as far back as it will go. Don't understand..
