It is very obvious so, everyone knows how outstanding a driver Ash is, especially Tosh Cook. The penalty system is now so poor, Ash must be smiling all through each race knowing the hybrid deficit , success penalties are a joke. As a paying spectator, Croft was my last event until they sort this shit show out.
@@LeighWinspearCroft has always been such a poor track recently honestly. You can just park the car anywhere and the only real overtaking opportunity is after turns 3 and 4 with that long straight into turn 5
@@AZBCDEE All im saying is that I miss the Murray Walker days as we all do and Tim and co do their best with amazing, enthiusiasm in their commentary, but in car cameras, overhyped social media crap, simply cant replace pleasing a paying crowd with live racing action across each venue. In all my years at Croft - my local circuit I have never experienced such a quiet, bored crowd. The tedious procession, of non overtaking cars was a spectacle to try and forget, despite a 123 for the napa boys. WTF is this Hybrid nonsense too, It is played down and non-instrinsic to the end result like a fischer price toy. Wow, a blue flashing light that no one gives a funk about really. Any way, im off to watch some redbull racing as I might have had a few too many anyway which has resulted in this post. BTCC Forever.............;)
@@AZBCDEE I do not wish to impose any more negativity on the second year of the hybrid era, but I will say, a hybrid, success ballast system may be the way forward? Or backward......;)
Hill is so average. Jelley and Morgan shoukd both be replaced. The only competent drivers in btcc are the top 6/7. Everyone else is rubbish Level of competition in btcc is so much worse than what it was before
Keep the toxic comments to yourself or go to Formula 1 comment sections. BTCC has a much classier fan base and we want to keep it so. I will agree that the competition is not what it has been before. I think the lack of Clio/Ginette G50/Cupra support package which was always there, is a big hindrance. There is no middle ground it feels from club racing to BTCC, so the next generation is not in a great place until one of the mentioned series comes back.

@@AZBCDEE Again, I think the standard has dropped and this does not just apply for BTCC but touring car racing as a whole all over the world, the support packages that used to be in place are not there anymore. We used to have top one make championships in the UK as part of the BTCC support package, Seat Cupra used to run with WTCC as a support package and it was places like that you learned your craft and got yourself in the picture for a seat in BTCC or WTCC. I would glame TOCA or even the BRDC for not having in place a higher class/standard series for young guys to learn in. And you are being toxic. Enough of this turdington nonsense and talk like a proper adult or just go away.
Wow BTCC just gets worse and worse. Really needs a rethink. The three short race format is so stale. Drivers too worried about their mickey mouse sponsors. Strip everything back. Make the cars closer to road versions again and no reverse grid rubbish. Two longer races with a bit of strategy.

Never in doubt. I mean, 15th-20th in BTCC is usually a better battle than anything you'll see on an F1 weekend.
