MBM always plays the same "channel variant" decks, but he somehow still makes it more entertaining than other creators playing different decks every videos. Prolly the most fun and charismatic MTA content creator out there
Most of the other guys are sorry clowns that think that their 99% Winrate is due to their skill instead of the game handing out streamer wins. MBM is not about any of this bullsh... He is just enjoying his deck and on top of that his wins are usually creative despite sometimes it's only 2 cards difference

As much i appreciate CGB and legenvd, they takes like 30 seconds on turn 1 to decide with land to put in play calculating every outcomes. They rope every single turn.

Some people might like watching chess games that take like 3 hours, i prefer blitz games.

@@Matyanson He could've sacc'd the 3 lands and the Hallowed Priest instead and Citizen's Arrest would've removed Ulamog. Also, in your scenario, it would do nothing instead of exiling Ulamog.

Edit: BTW, the basis of this combo has got my head moving towards a deck build. I haven't quite gotten it yet, but it's potentially a competitive bastard to play against. Annihilation is super duper annoying. Just need to counter counter spells. If you can lock the game down with some protection until it comes together, it's badass. The reason being that risking going to life 3 or 4 at the early stages leaves you open for a loss too easily against a ranked deck style.

Whoever thought putting Annihilator 7 on Ulamog was a good idea, needs to have their head examined.
It's X where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on it.. which makes it so much worse.. not to mention it puts counters on itself on cast.

I got roped on day 1 after I hit a turn 2 Channel into Echoes of Eternity + Ulamog and exiled my opponent's Ulamog. It's a wild way to win. I hit the uber-nuts of Forest + Wastes + Llanowar + Channel + Echoes + Ulamog in my opening hand, and so I don't even blame the guy in the slightest.
This is what we call... overkill

I really think that last opponent might have used the tutor Chris used, to put a tutor on top of their deck hahaha. Couldn't have fumbled the bag harder, but it was at least funny to watch.

most of pros and streamers including community are a bunch of idiots who hate on alchemy, but they don't mind playing timeless, a format packed full of stupidly broken card; compared to alchemy's seek, conjure or draft mechanic which are fine to me.
Digital only adds so much to the design space of a very heavily mined game. The cards cost nothing and can be buffed and nerfed instead of being banned or abandoned. These pros and streamers you mentioned don’t actually like the game.

I don’t know even a single streamer that hates alchemy. Those cards are fine in timeless because of the crazy power level, but they suck in historic

This is just a guess, but it's probably because UA-cam statistics showed him that people only watch 20-30 minutes on average.
So he just started making the videos that long to help get the watch time % on videos up, as it's one of the biggest factors when it comes to UA-cam recommendations.
From what I have been able to gather he has a real job coding as well as a family with young children, so this is like a hobby

by keeping 2 Lands, he could at least draw a 2 mana remove card. if he keeps only non land cards they would just die next time & he could not play anything.
If you're referring to Citizen's Arrest, the whole point of sacrificing anything is so that Citizen's Arrest is not countered, sacrificing nothing is better than sacrificing Citizen's Arrest. Also, there is no next time because not only is Channel restricted, Chris was also at only 3 life.
