For those (like myself) who are not proficient enough to design their j-cards in photoshop or gimp, try Inkscape. It’s more intuitive. Almost LEGO-like easy.

I believe the tapes used for this project were the NAC C456 Tabs Out. There's also duplication.ca where you can order any quantity you like. I believe there is a company called Delta Media as well. Cheers!
1:40 silk screening is not easy or very viable for cassettes, most professional albums use pad printing, which is way too expensive for most hobbyists. for a hobbyist at home, you can use a laser printer and nail polish remover to transfer it like a stamp, looks very clean. Overall, awesome video here!

I saw a friend of min use a Dymo labeler for labeling cassettes. He uses clear label tape with either black or white ink. These are durable, crisp looking, and have water resistant adhesive. You can also use colored label tapes, but I'd try to match the color to your cassette housing. A basic Dymo labeler starts at around $15 plus the cost of label tape. Another trick is to trim the excess label away from the text. It hides the transition between the label and the tape. Just another option.

Where does Jason order the stamps? I love how his tapes look and I'd like to print my info on my cassettes using that stamping method but I don't know where to order them. For the markings on it, you can use vinyl sticker paper. You can cut them out yourself with stencils and an exacto knife, or get a cricut machine which can cut out shapes from your computer

do you think its stupid to print jcards at home? i dont want to go back and forth to a local print shop every other day. ive been using an Inkjet printer to print like 50+ copies a month but im paying a god damn fortune on overpriced ink cartridges. using glossy cardstock paper. is there some other way to do it at home?
I think it only makes sense to print at home if you're doing a short run; it sounds like you should print up 100 copies of the art at the print shop in one shot. That will definitely be the most cost effective route for you. I would cut and fold them at home though... one release I did they charged me per cut for something I could have easily done myself! It's a learning process, don't be hard on yourself, and keep going. Cheers!

I dont make big batches at once because i dont know if any will even sell. sometimes im lucky to sell 5 copies. so one week I could have an order of 15 different albums and I need to do 1-3 copies each. Thats why print shop seems annoying
Oh I didn't realize it was a multitude of different releases. Well, you could so smaller runs there, like 10 copies per release maybe? It depends on the shop in terms of privacy. Kinkos has self-serve printers that you can walk in and use but at my local shop I hand them the USB and tell them what I want based on the files

Hey, Ryan! The album is great btw! The MarioKart Wario samples were amazing. I've been rocking out for the past 18 minutes. The animations are cool, too! I think rubberstamps.net is what I used. In terms of the sizes, I would measure a tape and look at how big you want it. Then you can use a word processor or PS or similar to make the letters/title to whatever size works for you!
I don't see why not. You just have to cover the holes at the top. Or you mean inking them? Not sure. Maybe those labels will scratch off. Or it might look cool to go right over the top of them
