We were there, bought a pair for my son, mentioned Lewdix, and the girl charged uS 10%more- wth!? Seriously, keep up the great work and good luck on your journey. If you're ever at KFIN let us know. Lunch, dinner on us.
So nice to meet you there, lewdix!! I love all the positive energy you have, and I still can't believe I found the flying eyes coupon feather!!! Best sunglasses out there!! Can't wait for sun n fun 2024!!
I talked to Captain Scott at the silver booth for a bit. Super nice guy! He tried convincing me to move down from the Midwest and fly for silver once I get through my training. Sounds pretty nice!
Excellent video sir! I was away all last week on a cruise so I didn't get a chance to swing by, a bit too nervous to fly into that jumble still. You can definitely scratch flying eyes....don't drop your glock 19 on it..... ask me how I know :) But, Flying eyes quickly shipped out new lenses to replace the one for free! Absolute top notch company. Have bought 4 sets of lenses through them. Thanks for the great video, maybe one year I will be applying for a job at Silver or elsewhere there. Keep these coming. PS. What about a piper factor tour now that they are open again!????
I went back and forth between Bose and Lightspeed a few times during my 5 days at the show. Have to say, Lightspeed sold me on the Delta Zulus. Not to mention, they just seemed more genuine when talking about their product. Maybe Bose just sucks to work for. So, now I have a pair of DZ headed my way. Shocked I missed you at SnF but there is always next year or even a lesson when I’m in your area (I train out of KFPR).
Hey brother! Sorry I missed you at snf23. But you did me a solid. Pickup 2 new magnetic sunglass attachment. Not only did I get 70% off for snf, but mentioned LEWDIX and received an extra 10% off. 🔥 Thanks Mate!!
15:30 This is what I did and I got my private in 46hrs and under 8K. I studied hard and was diligent. I'm working on figuring out how to get the rest of my ratings after spending so much, now that is the challenge. Finding cash and a place to start.. demotivating really.
I've flown the Piper Pilot, if you're as tall as me, 6'2, you'll be smashing your knees on the yoke. Nice little plane but very tiny inside, closely equivalent to a 152
@@LewDixAviation at full yoke deflection you didn’t hit your knee? That was my issue coming into landing with any significant crosswind, (turning the yoke specifically to the left) I would hit my knee as I wouldn’t be able to move it out of the way, unlike the right knee, I could move it a little bit out of the way but then I would mess with my foot placement on the rudder pedals. Idk, just my experience. It’s a nice little plane, I much prefer Piper to Cessna, but unfortunately they only have the Piper pilot as an option at my flight school.
@@jj6457 I don’t believe I’ve ever had that issue. In some aircraft the seat height wasn’t adjustable which did have my knees closer to the yoke than I’d like but nothing close to being a hinderance. Sorry to hear that’s a problem you’re dealing with.
i grew up playing flight sim 1.0 on dos I could land whatever huge jet they had on that game but I never fully understood the controls, little too busy. But! I loved the cessna and I loved the green double winged plane they had too, taildragger, REALLY hard to learn. How do you think I would be if i was doing all this at 5 and on the hardest restrictions flight sim had at the time? I learned on a joystick and for most of the instruments I would move them and read them with the mouse.
Thank you for bringing so many smiles and laughs to our booth, Lew!
Always a pleasure!
It was nice to meet you good sir. The wife and I both left with some new eyes….Flying Eyes. Jordanna was surprised I recognized her.
Haha Jordanna will be wanting royalties next! Great to meet you!
4:42 That's me! Great meeting you again Lewis!
Meeting you in person was one of our highlights of Sun N Fun! Thank you so much for taking the time to meet us. Love the channel. :-)
Ah that’s so kind of you to say! Thank you so much for taking the time to say hello!
Thanks for stopping by the Lightspeed booth. It was great to meet you and share some laughs!

Moving to Florida next fall. Looking forward to Sun n Fun 2024
Fabulous video
It was so nice meeting you there! Thank you for putting up with me and the rest of the Riddle guys, and for the free pair of sunglasses for my friend!
It was a pleasure my friend!
Great video and, as always, I am very impressed by your oration.
Awesome meeting you my friend! I am honored to have made it into one of your videos 😁
Legend!
Love the honest review of the Bose A30 -- new respect.
Thanks!
I was passenger on atr72 this week and kept thinking of your videos. Good work.
Haha that’s great! Thanks

He’s a top bloke! Did you know I’m his favourite FO? But you could come down and change that 😉
Great to meet you there!
Thanks man!
I think you're an undercover brand advisor for Lightspeed! And I love it! I love my Delta Zulu headset
Haha I’m not paid by anyone. I’m on the side of fairness and reason 🙌🏻
@@LewDixAviation and that's why we all love your content and your channel!
Nice to see you Lewis with Rich Rafferty
It's always been a goal of mine to go to SnF! I hope to make the trek from Australia one day. You should come to some of the Airshows in Australia 😉
Hey Lew! It was great meeting you!!!! I wish we could have had more time to chat.
Thanks for coming over!

I'll stick with my Lightspeed Zulu 3's and low wing Piper 👍
It was nice meeting you at Sun’n Fun bro
Absolute pleasure man!
@@LewDixAviation can’t wait to see you again maybe here at Tampa Airport international or the next Sun’n Fun 🔥
That hand shake tho
A sight to behold
You were walking right behind me and I didn’t even realize it was you - too chicken to say hello was I
Ahh you don’t need to be chicken with me!
250FM! I flew that!
My son and I started to stand in line to meet you on Saturday, but we were short on time and had to go.
Ah sorry about that!
@@LewDixAviation No worries, we had bit of a schedule to keep, maybe next time!

Only guy who’s being honest about the Bose A30s… everyone else is sponsered so they’re just bias towards them .
Can only say what I see 🤷🏼♂️ Glad you appreciate it!
@@LewDixAviation The ANR low is basically an audio passthrough. It amplifies external speech so you can hear people without removing your headset.
@@Saml01Doesn’t justify the price increase in my opinion 🤷🏼♂️
High wing, low wing, how about both the wings!
Will it stand up to a puppy chewing on it, and is that covered in the warranty.
Will you be at OSH Lew?
Not sure at the moment. I’d like to go.

Surely your seat wasn’t right or something? Ive never had that issue in a PA28 and I sat in the pilot at the show and it felt exactly the same. Weird!

You gotta master the art of manspreading.
What did the Americans think of the Wanderers shirt?
Only one person stopped me to talk to me about it. A man from Bolton who was shocked he found another Bolton fan haha
I love you man, but it doesn't count if you don't fly in (and show the flight)
😂 I was never there
No Bose sponsorship for you….
Probably not haha
