DIY Shoulder Length Bob Haircut

- This is my first time cutting my hair at home. I do have some experience cutting hair and I am a cosmetologist license, but cutting your own hair feels like I hadn’t cut hair before LOL Please be kind, this is my first DIY haircut. I had a lot of people request for me to do this video from instagram and facebook, so I decided to share my experience and process.
I cannot take all the credit. I did look on Pinterest and came across a girl from UA-cam named Sharee Anonuevo. I followed her steps. I did, however, add notes during the video to make it a little easier for you guys to understand the steps I took. Some things you need before you start your haircut...
Comb with wide tooth and close tooth bristles
Brush to detangle
Flat Iron (If you have curly hair, I suggest you flat iron first and cut a little longer than your desired length since it will curl up shorter depending on type of curls you have)
Sharp Shears (don’t use any kind of house, office or craft scissors) You can look at your local hair section at your stores
4 Hair Ties
Mirrors
Something to record the back of your head like a smart phone

Thank you! I was so nervous!! I usually prefer my hair long but I couldn’t stand how dry and damaged my ends we’re and I wanted to get rid of most of the dryness and breakage.

Excellent!!! Followed this, but then cut up into it to slim it out, to slim out the bottom (cause I can look like Garth from Wayne's world...). So happy, thanks for this!!! And you are BEAUTIFUL. Great video! It was nice to see how to fix the issues with quarantine haircuts instead of just seeing "I touched it up a bit and voila."
On a personal preference note, I do wish you'd talked through the cut process a bit. I loved the "bloopers" at the end; your on camera personality is so charming and lovely- obsessively levelling out the hair ties was so relatable.
