I have sublimation prints that are from the 1980's and they still press well. They were bootleg prints from sports. Let them stay reasonably cool and dry, they will last for years

Please share all the different type of fabrics needed for sublimation. Is this only for 100% polyester or ok with triblends, 50/50’s etc! Is there a blocker that can be use under the sublimation if is not a 100% polyester? Thanks

Can you cut designs from the sublimation?
hi, im just starting out with this venture and i was watching your video and i was wondering if white or bright colors are the only colors thst can be sublimated on and whats the best sublimating paper to use. I have the epson wf 7720 printer.
Yes unless you use a poly powder or spray polyfog.... and I like texprint-R sublimation paper
Do u wait for it to cool before peeling off the paper or you can peel while hot

Thanks for the video. To do metallic, do I need different ink and sublimation paper. How do I achieve the metallic in my printer.
Great question! The metallic used in the video is actually our metallic heat transfer vinyl. So you would need the ink and paper for your sublimated design, as well as some metallic HTV

Question? I've been working with sublimation.. Could i just use the Kraft paper? I keep seeing that with sublimation you have to use the Teflon sheet.
Yes use kraft paper or butchers paper or reg printer paper

There are solutions out there if you google or UA-cam it
can you achieve the all over printing effect without having a large/industrial machine? Great Vid btw
You can do it with an iron but it won’t be as good of a quality, it better to invest in a press they start at $150 for the small ones and if you’re using it for many shirts it works out

does the metallic have the feel of HTV vinyl or is it infused in the fabric like sublimation transfer is?
It feels like HTV - sits on top of the fabric as opposed to sinking into the fabric like sublimation ink does.

Do you wash the garment before sublimating?
no, you don't need to prewash the garment but make sure you press the shirt before you apply the sublimation

Polyester only when using Sublimation - if not, it will wash out.
@Stahls TV - Doing sublimation is safe for health. I understand it is a chemical process and requires around 385F of heat for transfers. Any thoughts / suggestions

Hi Jenna, This is Shakeel From Palksitan, my question is that how can we get actual black color from sublimation print heat transfer, actually im facing a problem with black color black is not coming proper black color, black showing darkest brown, and all over picture showing dark brownish, i used china sublimation ink and also Korean ink but result is not good, can you help me on this issue,
It could possibly be the type of ink you're using with the sublimation printer, or the Pantone color you're using - if it's not a true black, the sublimation ink will look like a faded black. I hope this helps!

The best ink is sublimation ink for best results.
Thanks for the responses Jaymes! Yes, Andrew that's correct - you will need sublimation ink to be able to print on sublimation paper. However, there is transfer paper you can use for inkjet desktop printers.

In my experience with sublimation transfer I someteimes had the same bad stains on the shirt after transfering. They did not com from the press, this comes from some chemicals in the fabric. You can wash them out easyly with a normal washingmachine.
Yes, we discovered that was the problem after it happened. Thanks for the information, I'll be sure to remember this when discussing sublimation blanks!

Kayla - is it possible that the blank you are using has any other content in it beside 100% polyester? Also, which sublimation printer are you using?
