Whoo....GP Extreme or whatever you make sounds great. Just what I need. I am not keen on digging up 0.001 fly specks. A friend of mine spent 3 weeks digging up 10 grams. I found 0.03 grams He had a 6000, but I didn't.
I have some areas that I know that has big nuggets out of the current detector depth range, when the weather warms up I am going to be out using upgraded tech to find the gold.
great show as always mate, as a person just thinking of getting into detecting as getting to old to be digging in the creeks , would be a great giveaway to get wouldn't worry me just a reasonable detector for hot and normal ground that's on steroids ha ha great show again mate
Ground balancing that hot rock was impressive,iam not a big nugget hunter i prefer to find gold in the sea but on the odd occasion ive tried i would prefer to get the deep bigger gold rther than digging 10 bits for less than a gramm,so deeper for bigger nuggets.cheers

Deeper and larger targets is what I would be looking for, a GPX4500 would be a great base.

A super gp extreme would be brilliant, l think a all rounder, for small to deep gold would work fine.
It would be a very exceptional detector.
Extra sensitivity gives us deeper targets but yes more noisy
