- Our ’82-’03 Sportster Hardtail Kit is 100% made in Charlotte, NC and completely tig welded from top to bottom.
The looped back end is a nod to the motorshop frames from the ’60s and ’70s. Coupled with 1” diameter tubing, this kit enables you to bring classic big twin chopper style to your Evo Sportster.
We developed this kit for the home builder and designed it to accommodate stock components such as wheels, axles and brakes. With a goal to stay as close to OEM specs as possible, we made the frame with 1.5” stretch to allow room for fender clearance, seat fitment and an oil tank.
Everything needed for installation is included such as hardware, slugs, bungs and fittings.

Try using hose clamps over the tape they act as a guide when you cut.
Installed mine today. It took a few months longer to get started. Took most the day but it was not in a shop just the parking lot. Easy fit up drain your oil and clean your bike first if you can. Have fun

Cool fabrication. Looks like the kit is dialed in and precision made. I just found you guys and subbed. Building a bobber myself, almost done. If I may suggest, take it from an old guy, step drill your holes next time and use an oil on the bit tip. I am also a school shop teacher....wear your safety glasses!!! lol. Keep the vids coming. I will catch up on all the vids on channel.

Getting rid of a bikes suspension makes all kinds of sense.
An engine jig is a lot easier than lumping the engine in & out

I rode a friend's 1962 pan head bike, 37 miles. My kidneys felt like bagbo drum's . I will never ride a hard tail again.
Why didn't you paint the frame before you put the engine back in?
I'm not sure why you drilled the hole through the slugs and the original frame I thought you were going to put a nut and bolt there I remember when I did my 69 triumph tiger the kit came with a nut and bolt you could also weld it too. The bsa's I used to do were just welding only I thought the nut and bolt was a extra safety measure.

Stop that drill bit from slipping. Tighten up the chuck then turn the chuck back one click to lock the bit in should hear a click.

I would not have used an impact on those mounting bolts just saying..
I stopped watching when you made the first weld without the engine or some sort of jig in to line up the mounts.

I was stoked to buy stuff from prism, after seeing they are charging 699 for this kit that does nothing more than a $350 tc bros hardtail kit and doesn’t even come with hardware lol yea I’m not buying anything from theses hipster poofs
