Franklin and Lamar are fdf they are a set of Grove Street but Grove Street broke up I think so now they just go by families

It doesn't actually work like that. Michael joins the epsilon program, Trevor has a feud with the lost after killing johnny and Franklin doesn't really do gang activity all that much. Just a few times throughout the story in missions.
